The next day I find myself sitting in front of Will. He finishes the paperwork. Jane's words replay in my head. 'Maybe its destiny.' Maybe, just maybe, it happened for a reason. Maybe he's the missing link to something. OR it's just bullshit. It's possible that I'm just good at my job and deserve this? I don't deserve this. I'm stupid.

"At war?" My head snaps up meeting Wills gaze. He watches me in amusement.

"What?" I ask.

"Well," he begins. "Your leg is bouncing a million miles per minute." I stop shaking my leg becoming aware of it. "You were zoned out." I shake my head. "And your pretty little face looked worried." My lips part. My pretty face? Does he still think I'm pretty? What does it matter? I clear my throat.

"I'm fine." I say. "What are my tasks?" He tilts his head slightly. 'Maybe it's destiny' Janes voice rings in my head.

"Well is there anything else you'd like to train for before you're off on your own?" He asks. I bite my lip. His eyes flicker to my lips, then back up.

" Uh." I think. "I think I'm fine. If I  have any questions I'll be sure to ask." He nods smiling.

"We will start off simple, Sweetheart." He replies standing. He walks around is desk and sits by me. I cross my legs, facing him better. "So obviously we keep things confidential." He point sat his door. "Whatever happens behind these doors stay behind these doors."

"Of course." I say in a duh tone. His hazel eyes dance in amusement. He bites his lip. I watch it slide from his teeth. "I mean." I meet his gaze again. "I'd expect that from HR reps."

"After time goes by, I'll have you shred paperwork we no longer need. We shred it because it help keeps the confidentiality. God for bid. We will be shredding old incidents, or say someone leaves, we don't need their clutter. If it's important we usually will keep it just incase, for legal matters or whatever. We keep important forms for up to two years mainly sometimes forever depending on the severity." He explains.

"Sounds easy enough." I reply.

"As my assistant, it's important to stay up to date on everything. You'll have access to your own HR email. You'' receive notices, facts, and important emails about the company and other legal activities. For example, we get emails from Mr. Scott and maybe my HR superior. Just to keep us up to date on harassment, CED/CPR, and other assessments or qualifications offered or needed." I nod. "We will receive the same emails for the most part. I may be really busy sometimes, so I need you to be on the ball on those days." He sits up straight smiling. "Now, would you like to see your office?"

"Yes!" I say immediately. He stands holding his hand down to me. I frown "You being an adult still shocks me." He laughs.

"Is that a compliment, Princess?" He laughs. I shrug.

"I'm not sure yet." I blush finally taking his hand to stand up. I follow him out of his office to the next door over. He holds the door open for me. I peak in.

"A typical office. Feel free to rearrange it to your liking or if you think it will help your work." An 'L' shaped desk with two computers sits against the wall in the farthest corner. Two arm chairs sits against the wall and a little end table is placed between them. By the windows is a few filing cabinets. Then a couch against the wall with the door on it. "We will supply whatever you may need. I f you go out and buy stuff, bring the receipt and we will reimburse it. I'm sure you already have stuff from you table before, but I'm just letting you know."

"I can work with this." I state confidently. He places a hand on my shoulder.

"Just let me know if you need anything." He says lightly. "I put a stick note by the computers. It  just has you email and passwords. Once you log on for the first time you can change the password. Also the sticky notes has little notes that might help."
