I stare at the template in front of me. It's already November 2nd, and I haven't even really touched it. How am I suppose to write this report on Will? It's defiantly a conflict of interest! I sigh. First thing Monday morning this is due. I can't disappoint Mr. Scott. There's a knock on my office door. I look up as Jane barges in. I move the papers to my desk drawer.
"Let's go!" She urges excitedly. Will waltz in right behind her.
"What?" I ask confused.
"I'm relieving you from your duty's for the rest of the day..." Will states. "to find your dress."
"But i-"I begin.
"There's not anything to do. It's only a few hours." Will says. "As your boss I command you."
"You command me?" I tease raising an eyebrow.
"It will take all day." Jane drags. "We know how it is. They look cute on the hanger, then you try it on and it isn't cute anymore. Or the mannequin's fill the dress out more better." Wow. What an attack. Oh no. It's going to be like prom all over again!
"Keep me updated? With pictures?" Will asks as I slowly gather my belongings.
"No." Jane hisses. "It's going to be a surprise!"
"Huh?" Will and I question in unison.
"Jane." I warn. She smiles big.
"Let this be fun! Trust me! It adds to the evening." She defends with a wink. I let out a sigh.
We walk into a boutique we've never been to before. It doesn't hurt to look around.
"Hi ladies." A beautiful lady approaches us. "Is there anything I can help you with? Or just browsing?"
"Yes." Jane says. "We are looking for more of an elegant fancy type of dress that will knock a man off of his feet." The ladies eyes widen as I resist the urge to face palm.
"Of course! Follow me to the back!" She insists. "I'm Amy by the way."
"Rosie." I greet.
"Jane." Jane offers.
"Now is there a specific color that you're browsing for? And what kind if elegant? Flowy, tight, leg slit?" Amy questions stopping in front of a selection of  gowns.  Jane glances over at me.
"I'm not sure. I just need somewhere to start." I give unsure. She nods with a warm smile.
"With your completion, depending on the event, I say an off white or even a really dark color would suit you best." She explains gesturing an olive green dress.

After trying it on, I figure it isn't my kind of dress

After trying it on, I figure it isn't my kind of dress.
"It's beautiful." I give. My self conciseness floods my mind.  "Maybe not that revealing?"
"Ro!" Jane whines. "You have nothing to worry about. You will look beautiful in anything." I shrug.
"The style just isn't me." I state.
"And that's okay!" Amy assures. A new customer walks in. "I'll be back in a moment. Feel free to browse."
"Ro, you don't have to be self conscious." Jane says lightly. "You're beautiful and almost 22. It isn't high school. Anything you wear will blow Will away! You shouldn't worry about anything else but him."
"I know." I say. "but you know me. You're full of confidence and social skills. For me, things are rough." She puts a hand on my shoulder.
"You shouldn't let it stop you from knocking everyone's socks off. You'll never get to dress like this for a while. Splurge and find something that makes you feel good!" She commands.
After an hour, I call it quits on the boutique. I feel like it was more of a prom base of store. Jane drives us to a bridal shop to see if they have any nice dresses. We decline help and browse around at the bridesmaid dresses.
"I feel like these are too costume like." I state running my fingers over the jewels on a dress.
"Yeah, but a few of these are cute." Jane agrees. "Don't stop looking."
After a while, I pull out a maroon dress.
