Isabel saw me a few days ago and gave me the good news, I'm out. I don't know how she did it, but she did. No trial, yet. Xiomara watched me as I packed some of my stuff and she comes up to me.

"Vein." She grabs my cheeks, looking down at me. "You be good, okay? Don't fuck up." With the small amount of time I've been here, Xiomara had been like a mother to me. She really cared for me, looked out for me.

"What if I do fuck up?"

"No, you won't. Just promise that you'll stay out of trouble, and if I see you back here again, I'll hurt you." She joked. I kept nodding, tearing up. "You are like a daughter to me, don't come back here unless it's to talk to me, okay?" The guard opens the gate, waiting. We took one more look at each other. "Betty and Camilla, they say their goodbyes, they said the same thing, and Betty wants you to call her once in a while."

"I will." I picked up my bag, walking away. They made me sign a couple of things, give me my things, finally, my ring. I slid it through my finger, the void was gone. I stepped out, the fresh air, I'm free. Coco was there, leaning against a car, smoking. My stomach had butterflies, I formed a cheeky smile. I made my way to him, wrapping my arms around him, kissing him passionately.

"It's good to have you in my arms again." He whispers to me.

"I'm not going anywhere. Let's go home, yeah?" He opens the tan car door. What happened to the black car? I slowly got in, Coco following behind. He seemed nervous or aggravated. He kept tapping the steering wheel, sniffing. I turned up the music, looking at him. "What happened to the car?" Coco looks at me for a brief second.

"Oh, I um, I crashed it." It sounded like he knew I was going to say the question. He said nothing else, just focused on the road back home. I just brushed it off. The ride was quiet, what was there to say? How the food was? My accident with Ana? As we pulled up to the house, I got flashbacks. I can still see the flashing lights, hear the bikes and radios, feel the blood on my face. "Amor?" Coco's hand on my shoulder pulled me back to reality. I brushed my hand over my face.

"I'm fine." We got out of the car, heading to the door. My heart started to pound outside my chest. Coco grabbed my hand, assured me that everything is okay. The place was the same, looks like they bought some new furniture. In the kitchen, I can see myself with Roberto, slamming my head against the floor, dragging me, choking me. I cleared my throat and turned to Coco, who was just concerned for me. I put on a smile and held his hand. "Wheres Letty?"

"With a friend, she'll be back. Angel and Ez are coming in a few hours."

"We have the house to ourselves then?" Coco wraps his arms around my waist, wobbling down to our room, shutting the door behind us.

Ez, Angel and Letty stopped by, had a few drinks, celebrated my return home. It's nice to be back home. Their smiles, who would've thought, I missed seeing. Letty went to bed, Angel had to meet up with Nails and Ez had to go. The house was back to quiet, went to bed early, soon as I crashed, it felt like I was on a cloud, sinking. That was ruin because I felt someone watching me. The room was dark, Coco wasn't beside me, the door was open and there was a silhouette. My body shut down, went numb, couldn't move. The silhouette moved closer and closer. My eyes widen.

"Hmm." Humming was all I managed to say. My lip was trembling with fear.

"It's me, it's me." It was Coco. He held me up, holding me. Soon as he held me, I can finally breathe. "You're safe."

"I need some air." I quickly got out of bed, grabbing a blunt and headed to the backyard. My body stopped being tensed as I hit it. I can pull this through. You did it once, you can do it again.
