Season 3 spoilers


Work was and always been slow. Again, these soldiers have been around and scaring away our people, making them too scared to come out of their homes. Carla and I had the shift, eyeing those men playing pool and severing them. God they were annoying, whistling at us as if we were dogs. It bugged us.

"I wanna punch them all in the face." I said as I kept an eye on them. Carla wipes down the countertop, also looking at them.

"Ill hold them down for you." We both chuckled and severed more drinks. I made my way to the table with our usual costumers.

"Hola." I gave them a smile as I gave them their drinks. They also kept an eye on the men on the other side.

"Hey mamas! Let me get another round for the boys!" One of them whistled at me. Carla saw that I was going to break.

"Im not scared to do time again." I growled as I set 6 shot glasses on the table, putting them on my tray and making my way to them. I placed the glasses on the table. I can feel the stares as I stood there. "There you go." I raced back to the bar. I shook off the nerves by taking a shot.

"Come here, i want to introduce you to my roommate." Carla pulls me to the other side of the bar. There was a man sitting on the stool, smoking, having a drink. He had a mustache and looks like he hasn't slept in days.

"Whos this?" He said in a low voice.

"Andres, you know, the one I told you about?" Carla puts her hands on my shoulders. "Mari, this is the asshole, Andres, my pathetic roommate."

"A roommate that always pays the bills." Andres sticks his hand out for me to shake.

"Hola." He smirks as I grabbed his hand.

"Hablas espanol?" Andres leans back, throwing back  his hands on his back.

"Si." I leaned back, sitting on the countertop.

"Que bontia." He looks at me up and down.

"Don't make me throw up, please

"She's just jealous." He whispers to me.

"Well Andres, what do you do for a living?" I asked him as Carla went to serve more costumers.

"Im a mechanic, also a handy man if you need anything fixed." He takes a sip of his beer,
