I just did my daily routine, getting ready to go to the shop. I saw my dad packing his lunch as I walked in the kitchen.

"Buenas Dias, papa." I kissed his cheek. I opened the fridge to get my bottle of water.

"Buenas dias mija." He zips his lunch bag. The room felt weird. "You can take the day off, business is slow." He walked to the front door and I walked up to him.

"Hey, whats going on?" He looks at me.

"Nothing, why?" I crossed my arms and i stood in front of the door.

"You've been real distant lately." My father stood up. "Ever since Ezekiel came back, you've been distant between me and Angel again, why?"

"I haven't notice, im sorry."

"Pa, im serious."

"Dont worry about it Marisol." He kissed my head and walked out. I dropped my arms to my side and took a big sigh. Something is going on. Ever since Ez has been back, my father has been with him, like always. The golden boy. I took a glance of the house, it needs some cleaning. I went to grab the mop and the broom and started cleaning. Music, especially batacha, booming the whole house. I was dancing with the mop as Prince Royce sang incondicional. My hips sway to the rhythm. My horrible singing echoed through the house.

"Que un amor verdadero. Se entrega por completo. Y eso hice por ti.." I smelled the fabulouso. Hmm memories. I walked to put everything away. I then heard a knock. My head snapped to the front door. I made my way to the front and opened the door to see Christina. I rolled my eyes, but i got a good look at her. She looked dead. Her eyes were like pure black, bags under them, and lips were chapped.

"I need your help." She told me. I looked if anyone on the block was outside. I stepped out of her way and closed the door behind her.

"My room

"My room." I lead the way upstairs. She sat down on my bed, looking at everything I had. "Why are you here?"

"My parents found out. They saw the drugs, they kicked me out. I have no where to go, and you were the only one that came to my mind."

"And?"

"Can I stay here for awhile? Just a couple of hours, then ill leave." I saw how troubled she was. I leaned against my dresser, thinking why should I help her? She made my life a living hell. But my good side, it told me to be the bigger person.

"Stay here." I walked out of my room and I went to the kitchen. I started to make a shake. I went back upstairs and handed it to her with a bucket. "Drink this, it'll help." She began to make faces as she drank it.
