Its been a while since Angel, Ez and I hung out. With everything, we barely got the time to saw hi. I hate to admit it, I miss them. I miss Angel's slow ass and Ez's smart ass. I decided to give them a call, see what's going on. The line kept buzzing and buzzing.

"Hey its Angel, you know what to do." Fucking voicemail, great.

"Uh hey!" I pinches my nose. "I just called to see how are you, its been a while. This is stupid, you're probably doing something. Bye." I hung up. My finger hovered over Ez's name, maybe he would answer.

"Hey," again, voicemail. "It's Ezekiel, leave a message." I sighed before the beep started.

"Its Marisol. I just called Angel but he didn't answer, I think you guys are busy or something. Maybe you're hanging with Gaby. Sorry I bothered you, I wont do it again, bye." As I hung up, I covered myself with the blankets. I wasn't feeling myself, I felt drained.

I haven't been like this since...since I was 13. I didn't want to move out of the bed, the bed felt like it was pulling me, wrapping itself around me so I wouldn't leave. Why was so welcoming and warm? I sunk in. My mind was filled with darkness, making me shut my eyes.

I woke up the next day, it was already 12pm. Did I really just slept the whole day? I forgot how draining it was. The sun hit my eyes as I lifted the blankets, it burned, making me blink repeatedly.

I reached out to the nightstand to get my phone, scrolling through the missed messages and notifications I got. One of them was from the group chat that Ez, Angel and I were in.

𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘨𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳. 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸.

That lifted my spirits up. I replied immediately and got a text from Angel saying he'll meet us there at 12:30. Let me tell you, i was finally happy. I got myself ready.

"Someone looks happy." Carla said as she walked to the kitchen, seeing me walk out of the room I was staying in.

"Ill be back in a few. Im just meeting Ez and Angel for lunch." I grabbed my bag and walked out. It was hot today, good thing I wore shorts. The ride to the diner was short, no traffic. No motorcycles in sight, they're probably on their way. I got a table for us.

"Can I get you started with something?" The waitress asked me.

"Can I get 3 lemonades please." I gave her a smile.

"Sure thing." She nods her head and leaves. I kept looking at the window to see if they were here and still nothing. The waitress came back with the drinks. "Anything to eat baby?"

"Uh I'mma wait for the others."

"You sure? I can get you something to start with."

"No its okay thanks, I can wait for them." She pats the table, assuring me and leaves. I checked my phone and still nothing. It was already 2.

"You want to get started honey?" She came back. They weren't coming.
