Tainted (Levi x Reader)

Chapter 33

After you descended the side of the ravine and traveled along the bottom to your camp, Levi doubtfully eyed the place. "You know you'd be fucked if it flooded, right?"

You rolled your eyes, but set to work lighting the fire and dicing up two potatoes for the two of you.

Levi tied up his horse securely to a nearby tree, petting its nose gently. He'd had to double back for it earlier.

Once he finished that, Levi began to straighten up your makeshift shelter beneath the overhang, rolling out his own mat against yours. He even started brushing dirt and leaves out of the space with the side of his boot, muttering crossly about the filth. You smiled affectionately and held back a laugh as you watched him, covering your mouth with a hand.

Levi noticed and his head snapped up, metallic eyes narrowing. He reached over the short distance and grabbed your arm, easily yanking you over. Your back hit the mat and he was above you, knees on either side of your hips and hands pinning your wrists to the thin cushion beside your head.

"Something funny?" he hummed.

"Just you." You smirked up at him, a mischievous glint in your eyes as they studied his.

Levi leaned down so his forehead was pressed against yours, closing his eyes. He then leaned further and kissed the base of your neck, moving up until he hovered above your ear. "You're an idiot."

You suddenly managed to slip a wrist from his grip, grabbing his hair and moving his head down a bit so you could murmur in his ear, "And you're a dumbass." You then brought his head back up and met his lips in a heated kiss.

Levi returned it hungrily, his teeth grazing your bottom lip until your mouth parted and he could slip his tongue in. His free hand moved down to rest against the small of your back, while the other released your hand in order to cradle the back of your head.

The kiss deepened and became rougher. Your legs lifted to wrap around his waist, and you could feel him already hard as he was pressed against you. You moaned softly against Levi's mouth as he teased you by grinding himself against you through both of your clothes.

Levi's hand moved up your back beneath your shirt, deftly unhooking your bra with one hand. He then pulled up your shirt and moved your bra aside. His tongue teased your nipple, before he started sucking your breast, while his hand massaged the other one. You moaned and felt your thighs tense against his hips from the pleasure. One of your arms cradled his head with the hand tangled in his hair, your other hand clutched his back with nails digging in slightly.

Levi raised his head to smirk up at you. He opened his mouth to speak, but paused for a moment to frown. "Is something burning?"

"Oh shit, the potatoes!" You scrambled out from under him and reached for the pan that sat above the fire, setting it on a rock and using a wooden spoon to poke at the charred contents. You looked back at him with an embarrassed blush on your face. "Well, I mean we can probably still eat them?"

Levi pressed his lips into a line as an amused smile threatened to overtake them.

"What?"

"Just you."

That night, you curled up at the very back of the overhang with Levi, wrapped in his arms as he spooned you with his head nestled comfortably against your neck.

Your mind focused on the feeling of his warmth against you and his even breathing, not really wanting to sleep. If you fell asleep, you'd wake up and this time with him would be over. So you just wanted to lay like this and cherish every second of it.

"Go to sleep," he mumbled against your skin, briefly bringing your hand up to give it a swift kiss.

You sighed quietly, your thumb rubbing the back of his hand as your fingers were interlaced with his. "I don't want you to go."

Levi shifted his head a little, his eyelashes brushing your neck just under your ear. "I won't go far. I'll be in Orvud most likely, but I'll visit every few days, when you're not meeting the girl."

You smiled and squeezed his hand. "Thank you."

Levi only hummed shortly in response. It wasn't much longer before you felt your eyes start to grow heavy, and you drifted off to sleep.

You bid Levi farewell the next morning. Before mounting his horse, he tilted your face up to look at him and gave you a short but meaningful kiss. "I'll be back."

You nodded and watched as he climbed up onto his horse and set off down the ravine. You then sat back and gazed up at the sky through the canopy as you waited for Anya to arrive.
