Tainted (Levi x Reader)

Chapter 45

You jolted awake with a silent scream caught in your throat, hands clutching the white sheets on either side of you. Your chest heaved as you blinked a few times and tried to control your breathing.

Sitting with his back to you at the foot of the bed, Levi turned as he heard you. He was dressed in his uniform, lastly about to put on his boots.

"You okay?" he asked, standing up and walking to his side of the bed. He sat against the pillows and beckoned you over. You complied, climbing out from under the covers and settling between his legs so you could lean back against him with a sigh.

"Yeah." You suddenly smiled as a strange sense of giddiness overcame you. "Better than okay."

You leaned your head a bit to the left as Levi nestled his face in the crook of your neck, planting small kisses. You relished the feeling of his lips across your skin and his arms around your waist, your own arms resting on top of his and your fingers interlaced.

You froze as Levi worked up along your jaw and to your ear. He rested his nose against the base of your ear, his eyelashes brushing your skin and his breath softly fanning your neck. "Maybe... are you ready to take these off today?"

He was referring to the bandages wrapped securely around the top half of your ear. The wound you'd suffered had healed well since the night you'd received it, but for reasons not even you could fully grasp, the thought of removing the bandages brought on a sort of panic.

You lowered your head a bit. "Rip off the band-aid, huh?"

You felt Levi nod.

It's not like you hadn't seen the scarred over wound yourself between changing out the bandages. But only you had seen it since Hange had finished treating you several months ago.

You raised your eyes to look out the window, where the first rays of sunlight were just filtering in. "It's unsightly, you know?"

Levi hugged you tighter to him. "It's what saved me. It just shows that you risked your life for me. Besides, nothing could change how much I love you, (Y/n)."

You fell silent for a moment, trying to let his words reassure you. "I love you, too. Will you do it?"

"Of course." Levi kissed your cheek. He brought his hands up, one brushing your hair back while the other found the end of the bandage and carefully began unwinding it while you sat there, unmoving like a statue.

You felt it loosen until it slipped off completely, and your cheeks grew hot as you sensed Levi's eyes on the scarred-over wound. The top third of your ear was missing from the gunshot. A few millimeters to the left, and you could've very easily died.

Levi gently kissed it, then turned your face toward him and kissed you tenderly, a light smile on his lips as they moved against yours. You shifted a bit more toward him for a better angle, as he began kissing you harder. You were soon practically straddling him with knees on either side of him, his head tilting up and his hands on your hips while yours cupped his cheeks.

You felt Levi lower you until your back hit the bed, and he hovered over you while you wrapped your legs around him. His tongue was in your mouth, and every now and then he would gently bite your bottom lip.

His hand glided down your side, past the large scar on your stomach, until it suddenly nudged the waistband of your underwear, slipping under it and further still. You immediately moaned into his mouth as his fingers reached their destination and began lightly rubbing circles to tease you.
