For (Y/n) (L/n), enlisting in the Scouts was a last resort to escape her twisted father and the years of abuse that were part of her "training."
But trouble from her past lurks as she quickly establishes herself as a soldier of unmeasurable skill an...

A/N: in case anyone is having trouble picturing it, this is pretty much the area where the riverside house is.
Also, (F/n) means (Father's/name). Or you can just make up a name for him instead (: _______________
Levi tapped his foot impatiently as he watched the carriage pull up. As it slowed to a halt, the door opened to reveal Hange, Jean, Armin, and Mikasa.
The dying sunlight bathed Orvud in an orange glow and cast long shadows across the cobblestone pavement. Using the time it'd taken them to make the trip, Levi had come up with a plan for the mission ahead, as well as scouted the building from a distance. He'd also looked into some records on the building, trying to find out what he could about the owner history and whatnot. Apparently, the house hadn't been bought or sold in over two decades, which was strange, considering what the lady had told him a couple days before. She said that after his wife died, the owner and his daughter disappeared. Surely they would have tried to sell the property for some extra cash? And even if they had just abandoned it, it would have been seized and resold eventually, being such a valuable estate in a prime location. The only reason that hadn't happened, was because the owner was still paying his property taxes on it.
He led the others back inside and into his room, where he had the map laid out on a round table. They all gathered around as he leaned both hands on the table across from them, his metallic eyes sharp with resolve and his face like stone as he began to go over his plan of action.
"We'll approach from here." Levi tapped a finger on the side of the building that didn't face the river. "There are two exits that we know of, so I want someone covering the one on the back, someone else covering the one on the side. If she's still there, she's likely being kept in some sort of basement. The rest of the building has too many windows." He paused and scanned their faces before going on. "If there is a basement, but no window or grate we can access it from, I'll go in through one of the two protruding windows on the roof. I'll work my way down from the top floor and try to find her."
"Shouldn't you first confirm the whereabouts of (L/n) before going after (Y/n)? It could turn into a problem if he figures out you're there and tries to ambush you," Armin mused, lifting his blue eyes from the map to Levi.
"That's true, but searching for him could also alert him to our presence. The more time I spend in the house, the higher the risk. My main priority is recovering (Y/n). Once her safety is guaranteed, I'll go back and deal with (L/n)," Levi replied.

You once again sat in the study of the upper floor of the house, leaning back in the chair by the window with a now empty plate before you. Your father was at his desk as usual, this time leaned over a piece of paper with a pencil in hand, apparently focused on whatever his task was.
