"Ooh, too bad not always stay in this town. So, if I take the promotional offer, I have to stay out of town for two weeks every fortnight?" Kristoff paced in the living room while Anna sat on the sofa listing the dolls and stuffed animals that she would put into her online shop. "I don't know about that." He glanced at his wife and then got serious again with the phone call. "If that so, with all due respect, Sir, it looks like I won't take the offer. No, I won't regret it. Yes, thank you very much, Sir. Bye." He hung up and took a seat next to Anna. He let out a deep breath then took a pink teddy bear and played with it.
"What happened, Kristoff? Who called you?" Said Anna, without taking her eyes off her notebook.
"My boss. It's a bad news, honey."
Anna gasped and looked up from her notebook to stare at her husband. "What bad news?"
"My boss offered me a promotion but the condition is, I have to stay for two weeks out of town, and two weeks here."
"So? Did you take the offer?"
"Of course not. I can't possibly leave you alone." Kristoff said honestly, he looked at the pink teddy bear and thought that the bear should be brown or black instead of pink.
"Awww, Kristoff. That's so sweet of you. You don't want to leave me alone, or you don't want to stay away from me?" Anna asked, leaning closer toward Kristoff, smiling so sweetly. She had completely forgotten about her notebook.
"Both."
"Awww. You're sooo sweet, Kristoff." Anna threw herself at her husband and hugged him very tightly. She was touched because her husband had preferred to refuse the promotion in order to stay with her. She couldn't bear to think what would happen if she had to stay alone for more than a day.
While at the house next door, Jack was upset with Elsa's plan to go to Norway with her ex-boyfriend. He constantly followed Elsa wherever she went, even to the bathroom. Elsa could only try to be patient with her husband who acted oddly more often than acted normal.
"Elsaaa, do you really have to go?" Jack followed Elsa down the stairs to the kitchen. "Can't you just refuse the offer?"
Elsa stopped walking and turned around, staring at her husband incredulously. "Refuse? How can I refuse the offer? It's my job, Jack. My job." She emphasized the word 'job'. Because indeed it was her job, there was nothing else. "Look, I have to go to Norway, with him, because-"
"No, no, no, wait. Are you for real? You go to Norway with him, you're ex-boyfriend who happens to know that you are originally from Norway. Very coincidence right? Are you really sure that this is just a matter of your job?"
"Jack, I already told you earlier. It's purely a matter of job." Elsa moved her hand, trying to make her husband understand. "Why do I have to go to Norway with him? Because firstly-I already told you this, in case you forgot, I'm gonna tell you again. Firstly, The South-West Group have bought Rosenborg BK, a football club in Norway. But there were problems in the process. And this case has submitted to the court of arbitration for sport in Europe, have you heard of CAS? No? I expected it." She took a deep breath and prepared to continue. "So, if I can win this case, it will be good for my career, Jack. My job, okay? And secondly,-"
"Wait, wait, wait." Jack held up his hands. "You are originally from Norway, but why is it so coincidence, he bought a football club in Norway? Why not somewhere else? Not in Spain, or Italy, o-or Brazil? Isn't that weird?"
"Secondly," Elsa ignored Jack's argument because she felt that Jack was overdoing it by associating her origin with the football club that was bought by The South-West Group. "because I am the only one who can speak Norwegian at the office, so I have to go." Her eyebrows raised while her head nodded as if to say 'Okay?'. She then moved to get a glass of water while Jack was still unconvinced.
