On the way towards our hotel , I was looking out the window of our car, we were passing through the familiar parts of the city. It brought back all the bad memories that I have faced. My eyes became blur, a tear drop fell on my cheek . Till then I did not knew I was crying. I slowly wiped my tears as I don't want anyone to see me like this because I want them to have fun rather them pulling them into my mess. I felt a hand on my knee, I knew it was Abby's. I looked at him and forced a smile. he returned my smile but I could sense the sadness in his eyes as well, because they were teary and kind of lost.
Out of the many things, one thing that we both had in common is that we both had a very bad past in California and they are linked to my parents and we can understand each other how much it hurts.
