Amrita's POV-

I still couldn't believe Sia was working with us.

Finally, I had someone to spend time with during my work hours.

Now, back to the case.

Raj checked the CCTV cameras near Little Birdy Café but couldn't find a person who matched the outfit of the murderer. It had been 3 and a half hours but still, zilch.

I was dying of exhaustion.

I went to my cabin and sat on the chair, wanting some alone time.

I  thought about the case.

I twirled a pen around my finger and shut my eyes.

Where could the murderer go?

After all, there was only way the murderer could possibly take and that was to pass by the café.

Unless...

I straightened up, dropping the pen on the floor.

He could have changed his outfit!

That could be a possibility.

I ran outside my cabin, towards Raj and Sia.

"Guys! What if he changed his outfit? I mean, he had to pass through this street, there is no other way. There is a high possibility that he changed his outfit, which is why we can't find him in the CCTV."

Nikhil looked at me in awe. "Great job, Amrita."

I smiled and looked down. Sia saw this and raised an eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes.

"Even if he did change his outfit, how are we supposed to find him in the CCTV?" Kajal asked.

I thought about it.

"The incident took place t 1.a.m. in the morning. Very few people must have passed by the Café, so why don't we check the CCTV and check the people who passed by the Café at around 1 to 1:30a.m.?" I suggested.

Ashok nodded. "Good idea."

Raj and Sia instantly got to work.

After half an hour, they got the information.

Sia came rushing towards us.

"During 1 to 1:30 a.m., only 7 people passed the Café, out of which 3 were men. 2 cars passed the Café but I don't think he would use a car. He is definitely one of the 3 men. We used face recognition to find the identities of the men. The names of the men are Ajay Tripathi, Karan Acharya, Sanjay Burman. Ajay wore shorts and a tank top, Karan wore pajamas and a shirt and Sanjay wore a long coat. I think it is Sanjay since he could have covered his outfit with the coat," Sia said.

I smiled at her. On her first day of her job, she was doing exceptionally well.

So our first suspect is Sanjay Burman.

Siddhant's POV-

Working with the Mumbai police was even more fun than I thought. Imagine the reactions of the officers once they find out I was the murderer. Even if the police do find out, they would not be able to arrest me.

I could murder an entire country's population, but still not get arrested.

Everyone was afraid of my mafia. Very few people actually knew how I looked.

That is why I used a fake name.

Suddenly, Amrita came running out of her cabin.

"Guys! What if he changed his outfit? I mean, he had to pass through this street, there is no other way. There is a high possibility that he changed his outfit, which is why we can't find him in the CCTV." She yelled in one breath.

I would have never thought of that. Damn, she was smart.

"Great job, Amrita," I praised. She smiled.

God, I could do anything to keep that smile on her face.

Anything.

Sia and Ravi got to work.

What actually happened during the night of the murder:

After killing the people in the Laal Bangla, I got inside the car which was driven by Ravi.

The officers really though that the murderer walked passed the café. Really? Walked? These officers were really dumb. Except for my Amrita, of course.

Sia extracted all the information within half an hour.

She was smart, I won't deny, but I am always 2 steps ahead of them. Ravi purposely told her that the murderer didn't use the car to not get caught. Now, the poor officers think that Sanjay Burman is the murderer.

I chuckled internally.

Idiots.

I wondered when I could make Amrita mine. After this Laal Bangla case is over, I will take her to  my home, whether she likes it or not. I will also confess to her that I am the murderer. I won't keep any secrets from her. If she freaks out and tries to run away from me, I won't let her.
