~3 months later~

"Drink this," I said, holding the spoon to his mouth.

He obliged and drank the soup.

"It's good," He remarked, nodding his head.

Sid cleared his throat and smiled, making me eye him suspiciously.

"My dear Amrita," He began with a sweet smile and I rolled my eyes. I knew what he would say.

"Let me go out. Just for a walk," He pleaded.

I shook my head.

"No. The doctor told you to rest for 3 months," I said, feeding him another sip of soup.

"Yeah but 3 months are over," He whined.

"It officially gets over tomorrow."

"Yeah. Today, tomorrow. It's the same thing," Siddhant shrugged.

"Absolutely not."

I placed the empty bowl back in the tray and walked back to the kitchen.

"Did he like the soup?" Sia asked with eagerness. I nodded and she smiled widely.

"You know, I feel very sad for Siddhant," I heard Dimitri say from the hall.

"Why?" I asked in confusion but after seeing his grin, I knew what he was about to say.

"Because he had to tolerate Sia's bland soup for 3 whole months. Hats off to him, truly. He is still alive," Dimitri said, trying to provoke Sia.

Sia fumed in anger and walked towards him. She picked up a cushion from the sofa and smacked his arm with it.

Dimitri fake-groaned and overdramatically fell down on the floor, clutching his arm.

"Ah! It has killed me! It has killed me!" Dimitri yelled.

"Stop exaggerating," Sia said with an eye roll.

Dimitri gasped and tackled her on the ground.

She shoved him off with a hard smack on his face and flipped him off. I chuckled seeing their childish fight.

I sighed and walked to the guest room which I had been staying in.

I plopped down on the bed and gazed out of the window.

The Eiffel tower stood out prominently from the rest of the sky high buildings.

I had been there with Sia who literally dragged me alone with her.

We had shifted back to Paris once the surgery was over.

Paris was more peaceful than back in that mafia city.

Lydia and Dimitri wanted to move in with us and we happily agreed.

We seem like a big whole family now.

About Gaurav, Manik and Jai- they were in the dungeons. No, literally. They were being tortured severely.

The mansion, like every mafia one, had a basement which had dungeons in it. Like metal cells. They 3 were thrown in as punishment. They were going to be tortured every single day. It would be worse than death.

Siddhant had taken a break from the mafia as he was still medically unstable, and so had Ravi, Lydia, and Dimitri.

We 6, Lydia, Dimitri, Ravi, Sia, Siddhant, and I, had decided to take a break from violence for few months and live in tranquility in Paris together for some time.
