Nathanial's POV:
17th Century

Love or hate both require energy. However, for Nathanial, he was no longer in love. In the place of love only the bitter past remained. Myra, she was the music that made him lose himself and dance to her tune. Meeting her wasn't up to him, but loving her was his own choice. A choice that he won't deny, why should he, for if someone loved, he loved her. It wasn't the first time that a similar face came into existence after passing away from Earth. But Nathanial never imagined that destiny will once again laugh at his face and bring her back to face him. Whether we want or don't want destiny always finds a way to take us to our fate.

As Nathanial ran away from the estate toward the woods he could the pain in his chest. How could he describe a pain like that... a face that should have never returned. "It's not her, it's not her," Nathanial continued to repeat this to himself. He could still hear Manson calling his name, but there was nothing that could stop him now. Nathanial couldn't look at her, not after so long. His heart was burning and then the memories began to flash across his eyes. As his silent screams filled the woods.

It was as if yesterday, the sadness which consumes me today was once his happiness. Sixth century Constantinople, it was like every other time and unlike any other time. It was a time when the world looked at peace as the Byzantine Empire was at its peak with Justinian as the emperor.

Nathanial had visited Constantinople a few decades earlier, but he decided to visit it again because he wanted to see the empire at its peak. It's actually a different feel to live in history than to just hear from others. Nathanial was traveling with his trusted companion, Antonio. Back then he could say he kept friends and Antonio was a good friend and Nathanial knew the day he disappears Nathanial will miss Antonio more than he will miss him.
