Master's POV

Sometimes it is the past that sets the stage for the present and the future. Like flowing lava from an erupted volcano that shapes the land of a new landscape by destroying the old. Just like that the Observer's tale is shaped by many flames of the past. Myra was just the beginning of this grand tale, the rest of the story is yet to come. Now let us set the stage for the Master.

Church bells chimed in the distance and smell of burning essences engulfed the air. The chorus could be heard throughout the Church of the Apostles. The people of Constantinople made their way to pray and repent for their sins. The Orthodox Church was right near the Wall of Constantinople and those who made their way to Constantinople by land from West Rome were sure to pass this Church.

Though Church of the Apostles attracted its visitors, but Constantinople is well known for its great Cathedral the Hagia Sophia which was located Far East of Constantinople. It was a golden age for the people of Constantinople, but little did they know that the end was near.

"Father I need to speak to you." A sister approached the Father in private. Her face was covered in sweat which was due to the heat of Constantinople, but the lines of worry forming on her face was very clear. She approached the Father, but her steps were taken by her almost as she was struggling with herself to walk to the Father. The Father hearing the nun calling for him halted in his path and turned around to see sister Lucia approaching. The Father was quite different than most fathers at other churches at that time. He was quite tall and well-built even with the lose white garment of the pope's one can outline his well-built figure. His face had a smile but that smile was somewhat cold which brought out the purple tint in his dark eyes. If he wasn't a father one would have mistaken him for a prince and found him quite attracting.

"Ah, sister Lucia how may I be of service to you." The father moved in closer to sister Lucia, sister Lucia moved back to keep her distance from the father and silently she took the name of Christ under her breath. The Father noticed her nervousness yet he moved in closer taking sister Lucia's hand. "How may I help you today?" he asked once again stroking sister Lucia's hand and keeping his eyes on her.
