"are you gonna answer or not?"

"he was saying bad stuff about kou-nee"

"and why is that?"

"we had a practice match with karasuno today" he sighed. "due to our captain's condition, a first year played instead of him and shikatora senpai was saying shi- stuff like how much of a bad player kou-nee must be if karasuno got that condition, but it was only cause captain wanted to-"

"that's it? you punched him for that?"

"you're making it sound too easy mom! kou-nee is an amazing player! he was the one who introduced me to volleyball and-"

"then why was he benched akiro?" the bitter voice replied.

"because of the condition mom! the first year was captain's junior and he wanted to challenge him"

even though he wasn't there for most of the match.

"that just means koushi is lacking enough to be beaten by a first year right?"

"what are you talking about mom?"

"if koushi is an amazing player as you say he is then why was he benched?-"

"that's because of the condition mom!!"

"yes i am. how many more times do you plan on getting into trouble akiro? you exhaust me at times, is this what koushi is teaching you while you stay at his?"

"i'm tired of you two" the woman sighed.

"koushi will transfer to aoba johsai"

"karasuno isn't that nice of a school anyway. he went there to join the volleyball team right? what's the use of being there if he isn't playing. and you, give me all your gadgets once you return home, no getting out of the house either. be thankful the coach is still letting you stay"

oikawa's gaze followed the second year as he stomped into the club room slamming the door going to his locker straight.

both the best friends shared a look. they had sent the rest of the team early so they could have a talk with akiro, it was their job as captains after all.

but right now, both were in doubt that akiro would even bother speaking.

"hey aki-chan, we kinda need to talk about what happened back there ya know" oikawa spoke keeping his voice firm but testing the waters at the same time.

he does not look in a good condition-

"you're not kicked out of the team are you?" iwaizumi asked guessing that could be the reason akiro looked troubled.

"i'm don't know" akiro replied closing his locker facing the two boys. iwaizumi sitting, facing the backrest of the chair his legs on both sides while oikawa stood beside him.
