Present time

"What did Felix say!?" Minho urges Changbin to tell him the details as soon as the latter enters the living room. Changbin just met up with the young detective.

"He's still in the police station. They still haven't got enough evidence to prove him wrong."

"And?"

The younger licks his lips nervously. "Since it's pre-election period, those with power need the citizens to think that the neighborhood they live in is now safe."

"Don't tell me..." Chan states.

Changbin nods. "Felix is kind of worried they'll sacrifice him for media play even when he's innocent."

Minho's face starts to turn red from anger. "And how the fuck they do that without any proofs?!"

"There's a way." Seungmin interrupts. "They can fake the evidence and label him as copycat or even state him as the murderer."

The four of them expect Minho to throw a huge tantrum, but the latter slumps his body onto the couch instead. His pale face is now decorated with tears.

"Is this karma?" Minho lowly mutters. He sounds so hopeless. His eyes seem as if it just lost its spark.

"We still aren't sure of what's gonna happen, Min." Chan approaches the younger and sits next to him.

"No, hyung. It's all my fault... You guys know the reason why I made this team. If it's about revenge then I should've stopped because I've finished it already... But I fucking didn't because I couldn't just let some strangers to live in misery like me. If only I could force myself to ignore it.. Hyunjin wouldn't be there.. I should've listened to all of you." He then takes a glance to his teammates one by one and utters, "I'm so sorry."

Jisung instantly puts his tiny self on Minho's lap and engulfs him in a hug. He doesn't say anything and just cries along with the older.

"We'll find a way and get him back, hyung." Changbin says in such determined tone.

Seungmin hums. "I know we will."

"It's official then. We'll have a new member soon." Chan adds. He grins when Minho looks up and meets his eyes. "We're not gonna leave a family behind, Min. I promise."
