Vanya swung her satchel on her back, feeling the need to go through it one more time, but resisting it.

He loosed a loud roar, rearing back onto his hind legs and releasing a jet of red and orange fire that extended several meters out.
He landed back on his front legs and then sprung off of the training ground of Evarinya, flapping into the sky.
Vanya twisted back around to look at the ones that watched them leave. Eragon and Saphira, of course. Then there was Begnaz and Arucane. Then in a jumbled mess next to them was the new Riders, some of whom were considerably younger. In front of them all slightly was Vanir, who had come to bid her farewell. He lifted a fist into the air, smiling and wishing her goodbye.
Vanya raised a hand as well, smiling still. There was an empty spot on the courtyard, and Vanya waved a sad farewell to the friends that were now gone away.
Turning back around, her eyes took in the ocean as it spread endlessly before her. We go to map the world and beyond. She grinned and raised both hands in the air as the wind whipped at her hair and the future offered her promise and adventure.
