Chapter 19: Other Bug part 2

"I hope she shows up." I say antsy.

"She will show up. You said you were bringing me so she will want to at the minimum come for that." Tikki says in assurance.

After that revelation from Tikki I decided to call Marinette for a long needed unbiased chat at the current under construction new eiffel tower.

When she finally arrived Tikki immediately flew to her and hugged her cheek making Marinette tear in the eyes. "What is this Adrien? Are you finally giving me Tikki and the miraculous back?" She asks looking hopeful.

"Not quite. First I need to ask you something I already talked with Tikki about. The last time you saw Bunnyx was when she left right?" She nods, "and you never met me at the eiffel tower?" She shakes her head no. "And when I fought my body guard who was akumatized again you never even arrived?"

"I never got the chance by the time I arrived he was gone and so were you." She says confused.

"This doesn't make any sense. If you never were there any of those times and never even knew my identity then who was I speaking with all those times?" It isn't like they weren't solid versions of Ladybug we fought together.

"What are you saying Adrien?"

"I think I was tricked into something but I don't know what yet."

"Adrien you aren't making sense."

"I'm saying someone used me to make me turn...on Ladybug..." Wait..

"You don't think that someone made some kind of clone of me do you? Who can even do that?"

I stand in silence before thinking on every villain we have ever fought and it hits me. Only one person can make clones of people. "Mayura." How could she they promised no more secrets and never even told me. "That Ladybug must have been a amuk and she knew my identity because father had already known by that point." More lies, how long did they plan to hide this from me.

"Adrien?"

Before we brought back mother? After? Years later or never?

"Adrien!"

"What!" I say seething with distain towards them both.

She points her hands to mines where I now notice my cataclysm has activated from my emotions alone.

"It's getting worst." I say calming down.

"You need to get to the guardian Adrien. Now, stop waiting. Given the circumstances he might let you keep Plagg since you aren't yourself." I contemplate it but refuse.

"I can't. I don't want to but I am more than willing to give up being Chat Noir for this reason." Plagg wasn't happy with this but knew it was a lose lose either way. "How many more do I have tikki?" Referring to transformations.

"Hard to say with how you are progressing but one? Maybe two?" She says unsure.

"Even more of a reason to hurry and fix this!" Marinette said.

Just then I get a call from my father. He calmly says to me, "Adrien, it's time." My eyes go wide at the realization of what we're about to do.

"Alright, I am on my way." I hang up and tell tikki to come with me. Marinette begs me to stop this but her pleas fall on deaf ears. "By tomorrow this will all be over." I simply say going home. It's almost over. But first I need to have a chat with Nathalie.

Very short chapter but it's for good reason. I'm sorry for the months of silence but I've been working on a new book I want to try and get published. So I have been putting all my time and energy into that neglecting my fanfictions ~^~. On the bright side this book is almost completed. Just a few chapters left before the finale. Until then.
