Chapter 11: Adrien

11:45 pm and still no word. Well she did say -ish. Sigh. Maybe I should go see her? Just as I say this I get a message from her saying she is on the way. Yay.

"Adrien what are you planning?" Plagg asks me.

"Kagami knows the truth already. And it seems that she is going to be on my side no matter what, so I'm going to ask her to help Father, Nathalie, and I." Truth be told I am not as confident as I sound telling this to Plagg. "And under the circumstance that it doesn't work then...I don't know."

"I hope you're right because enough people know of your identity as is." Saying noting else we both wait in the window until Kagami's arrival.

By 12:15 I had given up hope of her arrival and just closed my window laying down in bed. Guess I should've known it to be a bust. Rolling over to fall asleep I hear something hit my window. Ignoring it I try to sleep again but hear it several more times. Getting fed up I go open my window and get high with a pebble.

"Agh what the fuck?!" I say rubbing my forehead. Looking out around the area I see Kagami outside the fence on our property. So she really did come. "Plagg."

"Claws out?" He says.

"You already know." I chuckle out. Changing into Chat noir I jump out the window and use my staff to lower myself to her. "You came."

"I'm late. Mother was....belligerent in knowing my every move. So it took awhile to get out. But I'm here now, what did you need to talk about?" She says eyeing me in my Chat noir form.

Not wanting to talk outside I pick her up and bring her to my room. Once settled I explain why I'm back home and the situation of living with a two supervillains as well as the compromise we've made.

"So what's the downside?"

"I have to find a way to take ladybug's miraculous or help them do it." This Shocks her and causes her to step back a bit.

"But, but why?"

"Because I want to bring back my mother. If I get her miraculous and connect it with mines my father and I can wish for my mother to be brought back to life."

"Brought back to life? That's what Hawkmoth...I mean Mr. Agreste has been planning all this time?" I nod and she takes a seat on my Foosball table. "But now you have to do what he does."

"Not quite but also sort of. He agreed to no akumatizing. But we have to make a plan of action....which is why I called you. I want...your help to take her miraculous...."

"YOU WANT ME TO WHAT?!!" I should've expected that.

"I know I know it sounds sketchy and backwards from what I've been trying to do. But, it's not for anything devious. Just for that one wish." I say sounding less confident now than before.

"And what of your father? What about when he gets this wish then what will he do? Will he and Mayura finally give up their miraculous' to Ladybug?"

"I..didn't ask that. But I am sure he will comply if I add that to the agreement. He only uses the miraculous to get mine and Ladybug's. Once his wish is gotten he has no use for it anymore."

"How can you be so sure?" She asks.

"Faith. Trust me as I trust him Kagami." Contemplating for longer than I'd like she sighs and nods. "So you will?"

"Yes, Adrien, I will help you to get Ladybug's miraculous." She says looking slightly unsure about her decision.

I approach her and hug her. "Thank you Kagami. I know you are unsure but as I've said trust me and it will be alright." She nods once more and sighs deeply.
