Chapter 12: Kwami Buster Part 1

After school was my fencing practice with Kagami. Thanks to sleeping throughout the day I actually was more than capable of delivering an adequate match with her.

After practice we say and talked in the changing room about the plan to take Marinette's miraculous. "First thing is first. I have to tell you who Ladybug is."

She looks hesitant but nods awaiting my answer. "I am ready when you are."

"Alright. The identity of Ladybug is my classmate Marinette Dupain Cheng." She gasps hard as it is a rather hard thing to believe. However, then her face changes and turns to a meh.

"Makes sense." She says shrugging.

"Excuse me?" I ask now pondering her words

"I mean her hair is the same. The voices are the same. Figure, height etc." She says shrugging once more. I start to refute because I didn't know but don't when I think of how obvious the comparisons were. "So what is the plan?"

After we discuss our plans we set out to start them. I had Kagami go to the fountain outside of her house and stand at a distance. I on the other hand called and told my father of the start to our plan.

Calling him up he answers quicker than usual. "Father?"

"Yes Adrien, is there a problem?"

"No, I am calling to tell you to have the driver leave. Kagami and I are starting our part of the plan and I need it to look like I have no ride. I intend to lure ladybug somewhere private."

"Ladybug? You will be with her in her civilian form then."

"Yes, and I need it to be just us. However, there has been a change, I do need you to so something that requires your Akumas."

"I beg your pardon? You were very adamant on not using my powers." He says with an earned amount of confusion and irritation.

"I know it is outside of what I have been asking but it is necessary now. Send an Akuma to Kagami and await her response to use it. We have a plan that requires Ladybug transformed."

"But why not take it from her in her normal state?"

"If I attempt to take it from her normally she has the opportunity to transform and stop me. I need her to use her lucky charm making her vulnerable for five minutes before changing back. And I know she won't even are to change back until she feeds her Kwami so I will have her in my grasp."

He goes quiet for a moment before begrudgingly accepting it. "Alright. I will send one now. But why two Akumas?"

"One to use as the initial trigger for her transformation and the other to retransform her when Ladybug is vulnerable."

"I see you have thought this through thoroughly. Very well the other will be sent as well. Good luck." I end the call and look around for Marinette.

When I finally see her she is walking with Alya with her head hung low and Alya trying to comfort her. I walk up with as good a smile as possible and say, "hey Marinette."

Both She and Alya perk up at not only my voice but it being to her. "Hey Adrien.." Alya says speaking for her.

"Well Alya, I'd like to talk to Marinette if you don't mind." They exchange looks and nod separating. Alya heads home while I stay with Marinette. "Marinette..."
