Nico's POV:

"Come here! Come back!" I yelled almost getting hit by a car as I chased after a small black kitten

I've been chasing this kitten. My Mom gave me the mom cat when I was younger and this kitten means just as much.

The kitten ran into a open church and I rushed in after it. I was looking down and around trying to find the kitten. I bumped into someone and he moved down clutching his stomach that I had just rammed into.

"I'm sorry." I said

"Be careful! You could have hurt someone!" He hissed

"I said I was sorry." I said

"Are you here for the food?" He asked

"No, my kitten ran into here." I said

"What's its name?" He asked

"It's Midnight." I said "She's all black."

"Okay, so she's Midnight and you are?" He asked

"Nico." I said

"Will." Will said

I nodded and looked everywhere for the kitten. When I gave up I felt terrible. I wanted to search again, but I knew it was hopeless. I saw a small streak of black and I rushed after it. The only door we hadn't gone into was an open office.

Will told me to stop, but I didn't. I scooped up the kitten and pet it softly. It was so cute with its blue eyes and black fur.

"What is the meaning of this?" A man asked

I realized there were people around me and I blushed moving away. The guy who asked came up front. I recognize him. He's Pastor Apollo. I've seen him around before. It's not a big city. People know him, because he runs the biggest church in the city.

"I'm so sorry father!" Will said grabbing my arm

"I'm sorry. My kitten ran into the church." I said

"Leave this office at once." Pastor Apollo said

I nodded and Will led me out. He closed his eyes breathing deeply a few times. I let my kitten dig her claws into my skin.

"She's cute." Will said

When he asked to hold her I was hesitant. I let him hold her and he pet her with one finger. I took her from him and he led me to the kitchen. He explained that his Mom was handing out food and he wanted me to eat something.

"I may not know you well, but you're all bones. Try to eat something before you leave again. We do this once a week. Come back next week too." Will said

I nodded and we ate talking together. We laughed a lot and we decided to meet more. I showed him where I lived. It was a small abandoned house.

I showed him the kittens and he loved them. He lit up and talked about being a doctor and wanting to deliver babies or help babies. He says he's good at diagnosing kids and babies.

Over the next four months we got to know each other better. I came again one night and he took me to a small office.

We had kissed a few times and I always melted when he kissed me. He pushed me against the wall grasping at my hair. I kissed him back greedily.

I was afraid, but he promised me to take it slow. We had sex in the office. He made sure he was gentle and it made me love him more.
