Babysitting's Not Hard Part 2

Nico's POV:

"Come on Will! We're going to be late." I said from the bottom of the stairs

"I'm coming." He said

"I'm tired of standing and if I sit down, I'm never getting up ever again." I said

"Here." He said

I was given a black bag. It's our go bag just in case. I'm barely 8 months pregnant, but Will doesn't want to take chances. He got towels and a bag. We both walked out to the car. He was carrying both things. I got into the car, the car seat still in the trunk. We decided we should keep it there until the baby comes.

We drove to Percy and Annabeth's place. We got out the car and Will helped me. It's getting harder for me to move, so it's hard to even get into a car. We walked to the front door. Will was supporting me his hand on the swell of my bump.

"Thank you both for coming. Sorry this was so last minute." Annabeth said

"You told us three days in advance though." I said

"I know. I should have told you four days." She complained

Mariana came over to us and I smiled when she hung onto Annabeth's leg. Will crouched down and she hid her face in Annabeth's dress.

"It's okay. You remember Uncle Will and Uncle Nico." Annabeth said

"Can we come in?" I asked

She let us in and Percy grabbed Mariana making her fly. She giggled and I sat on the couch rubbing my huge stomach. Percy gave her to me promising to be back in four hours.

Will took her from me setting her onto the floor. They played an intense game of hide and seek. I rubbed my bump getting a harsh kick from the baby inside of me.

"Are you okay?" Will asked

I must have made a face or something. I smiled and nodded. He continued to play with Mariana and her toys. She was so confused that the door kept closing and opening when Will moved it.

>Two hours later<

"Hey, Will?" I asked

"Yeah." He said

"I think I'm in labor." I said standing in the hallway.

He dropped the toy he was holding coming over to me. He crouched down eye level with my stomach. He felt around for a minute trying to see if I was right. Mariana was crying since the toy Will had dropped had accidentally hit her.

"Yeah. You're in labor. I'm not just saying that since your water just broke all over their rug." Will said "This is entirely based of of facts and research."

"Please call them." I said

>On the phone<

Percy: Hey, what's up Will?
Will: Nothing much. How far out are both of you?
Percy: Like 2 hours. There was this accident and we are all being redirected. Why? Is Mariana okay?
Will: She's fine. Nico's in labor though.
Percy: Take him to the hospital.
Will: We both know he's not going to leave Mariana here or go to the hospital with her.
Percy: Try to convince him or check to see how dilated he is. Annabeth just told me we should go to the hospital if he is over 4 cm.
Will: Okay. I'll check. Thanks.
Percy: You're welcome. Bye.
Will: Bye

"I need to check you. Do you want to be checked here or somewhere more private?" Will asked

I clutched my bump sitting forward. He carefully removed my hands letting me grab onto him. I grabbed onto him trying not to do anything loud.
