yunho had already been discharged, trying to get used to being on crutches. he still goes to school and to the basketball court occasionally where he sits at the side and watched the game. he couldn't play, but that didn't stop him from visiting practice. he could still cheer on his team and more importantly, he could cheer on his best friend mingi.
as for hanabi, she was transferred to a private ward where she had a room all to herself. yunho wouldn't stop insisting on it so eventually it happened. hana would occasionally look out the big glass window where she had a clear view of the night sky and the moon. it made her feel at ease again. and yunho made it happen.
yunho would also visit her from time to time, to keep her company and to take care of her. they started becoming close again. it came pretty naturally, because they always had a great bond.
there was a knock on the door, and hanabi allowed whoever it was to come in. the door opened, revealing a tall young man on crutches. hanabi smiles at the sight. she likes it whenever he visits, he made her days a little better.
"hi!" he approached the bed and sat down, placing his crutches next to him.
"hey. your leg is doing so much better," she points out.
"right? the doctor says i won't need my crutches anymore after 2 days. i can finally walk again," he proudly states, making her chuckle.
"that's great! i'm happy for you."
"i know you are. thank you," he smiles as he gently pats her shoulder. "how are you feeling today?"
"the same. never better, never worse. it's always the same everyday," she sighs. he nods. he understood that it must feel incredibly tiring to be living the same thing everyday.
in her mind, she was actually doing better some days whenever yunho came to visit. he always brightens up her day without fail. she felt like she finally had a reason to look forward to the next day now.
but of course she couldn't tell yunho that.
