Chapter 56 | Reunion

Narrator POV

In the end they decided to split up.

Taehyung and Jin. Namjoon, Julie, Hoseok and Jungkook. And Jimin and Yoongi.

"Hello?" Taehyung immediately picked up his phone.

"Hey, so I just realized something..."

"What is it?"

"... The day cares and schools,"

A struck of realization hit Taehyung.

"Ugh!" He palmed his face, "how did we not think about that sooner!?"

Hyungwon chuckled in embarrassment, "I'm going to check out the ones on the north side."

He sighed, "knowing her, she literally could have applied anywhere in this whole country."

Hyungwon let out a small laugh, "you're absolutely right,"

"I'll check the ones here in the south region, thanks Hyungwon. I'll talk to you soon." He said then hung up.

"What happened?" Jin asked.

"We're checking the daycares and schools," he pocketed his phone. "Text the others and tell them to check the ones on the west and east side please."

"Alright,"

Taehyung gripped his hands on the wheel.

"Hold on, please." He whispered.

"Hyung,"

"What?"

"Jin-Hyung just asked for us to check the daycares and schools in the west,"

"... Bucheon? Would she really go that far?"

"Knowing her, I don't doubt it."

"Huh, alright." Yoongi pressed his foot on the gas.

They stopped to a neighborhood school and about 2 other daycares but no luck.

Luckily, one of the ladies from the front desk of the school advised them about a private day/after school program that was nearby.

They weren't sure if that was what they were looking for but they still decided to check it out.

They put on their masks and glasses before going inside as per usual.

"Hello good evening," they greeted the receptionist and pulled out one of her pictures. "We are looking for this foreign young wom—"

Her eyes widened but as soon as she tried to answer their question, somebody else spoke up.

"Jimin-sshi...? Is that you!?"

They turned in that direction.

"Yoongi too!?"

They both exchanged looks.

"Oh my goodness it is you!!"

They didn't know how to respond. If she found out it was actually them in disguise this thing could escalate and they didn't want to take that chance.
