Mia's POV

The sound of my alarm clock woke me up along with the birds chirping outside and the light of the sun entering through my window.

I sat up confused, as if I had just woken up from a dream.

But, it wasn't a dream.

And more importantly, I realized I didn't even dream at all.

How strange...

I turned off my alarm and grabbed my phone from the nightstand. I could feel my head throbbing a little, probably from all the crying.

I haven't cried that much since grandma.

As I raised my phone the screen awakened revealing one missed call from an irritable sibling, a text from Julie and another text from an unfamiliar contact:
V-Oppa.

"Wtf is a voppa?" I mumbled to myself scrunching my face with my eyes barely open.

I stared at the message, then I remembered something.

Something about that name sounds familiar.

Monday, 7:10am

V-Oppa

V-Oppa: Good morning, sorry I left without saying goodbye, I had to attend my photoshoot very early. I hope you're feeling better, call me if you need anything😊

I then remembered what the term Oppa meant.

I rolled my eyes at the way he saved himself under my contacts and put my phone back down.

"Pfft, child." I mumbled getting out of the bed, a small smile leaving my lips.

I did my usual routine getting ready for school, not even bothering to think about last night. It's not like I'm going to see him anymore either way, it was just a one time thing.

Plus, it was truly embarrassing. How could I let a stranger see me at my worst?

I shook the thoughts off my head.

Time to snap back into reality again.

A few hours later

Before I knew it, the professor dismissed class indicating that school was over for me and I had to get to work.

I know I said I didn't want to think about last night, but what's been on my mind is Jackson. I usually don't daze off in class but today I did, it's so unlike me but to be honest I'm still scared.

I arrived at the library and headed for the center desk where people usually ask for help. On Mondays I usually rearrange the books and stock the ones that people have returned, but like I said I'm not feeling today so I asked someone else to do it.

I usually prefer mangas, but today I decided to continue one of my favorite books, Frankenstein.

There's nothing wrong in reading an actual book every once in a while.

I opened my book to where I had left off and was about to continue reading when I was stopped by a male voice.

"Excuse me?" I looked up to face a tall slender figure with black hair, wearing a black buttoned up saggy shirt exposing his collarbones and light blue jeans.
