Taehyung's POV

"Huh?" I was utterly confused.

"I was testing you," she said in a calm voice, sipping her drink.

...

"Uhhh.... am I supposed to be offended?"

"I dunno," she shrugged, "however you wanna take it."

"So you basically just interrogated me?"

"Si " she grinned.

I sat there with a dumbfounded look, a bit agitated.

"Hey, I still meant all the stuff I said before. I just wanted to be sure you were all in because like I said, I don't want her to go through greater pain."

"Fine. Makes sense," I rolled my eyes.

"So could you like, tell me a bit more about her..." I faced down twiddling my fingers on my lap like a little kid while kicking my feet.

She laughed, "now I know why she liked you, such a man child," she shook her head.

".... you think she really likes me?" I looked up.

"Well from what I can see I mean she spent a whole day with you, let you in her house and you're wearing her jersey," she chuckled, "I can't remember the last time we even spent more than an hour together!"

"What? Seriously!?"

"I'm telling you man, she doesn't let just anyone in. You're somethin' else to her and I know you know it too."

My heart started fluttering and I felt a little pinch in my stomach.

Can I really be feeling the same way too?

No...

"I-I don't know..."

"Yeah, yeah. Well I may be overreacting, but one way I know she'd feel comfortable around you would be if she s—" She paused, "ha never mind , what am I thinking she wouldn't—"

"Sing in front of me," I cut her off.

Her eyes immediately met mine with a disbelief look. "What did you just say?"

"She sang in front of me." I smiled shyly, "well not really my back was turned and—"

"SHE WHAT!? ARE YOU SURE!?" Almost everyone sitting next to us turned in our direction.

"Shhh, yes!" I whispered-yelled.

"Sorry," she palmed her face, "that just really surprised me."

"Yeah I get you, she freaked out when she found out I was awake when she was singing," I chuckled.

She gasped, "Y'all have a lot of explaining to do!" She slammed her hand on the table with an amused face.

"Anyway, she's good huh?" She smiled.

"Good? She's amazing! Her voice is so-so breathtaking, I can't even find words to describe it. But why doesn't she like singing in front of others?" I asked pulling my mask to my chin and took a sip of my drink.

She sighed, "she gave up on it."

"On what? Singing?"
