Mia's POV

Still in shock, I decided to play some music to take my mind of things. I went to my 'oldies' playlist and started jamming out as I started my engine and drove off.

Music is and always will be my go to, it's my remedy. I have love for all genres, but my all time favorite is rap. It was the source to my development of love for poetry.

I pulled up into my driveway got off the car and went inside. I walked in to my brother on the couch watching Netflix. I really must have lost track of time because he was already there. Usually he gets home after me.

He stared at me "Why are you late?" He asked fake concerned.

"I uh.. um-uh had a problem with a customer," I said as I tried to walk away trying to avoid his next question.

"Aja, liar. Remember my flight leaves at 10!" I heard him shout as I walked away.

Whatever, hey it's not like I'm actually lying. I totally forgot that I had to drop him off at the airport tomorrow though. Oops

I went up to my room and turned on my speaker as I walked in and started playing my music again. It was a long day, I needed a shower.

I was about to take my clothes off but then I realized I still had his scent on me.

Wow,

I was too distracted earlier to realize how good he actually smelt.

But before I could get in the shower I heard my ringtone.

(Incoming call Day 1 Hoe💛)

"Hello?" I answered.

"Miaa! Guess what?"

"Seriously Julie, it's 2am why are you calling me this late?"

"You're always up at this time the fvck you mean?" I can almost see her bishisyouforreal face. "Anyway, I have a surprise for you!"

Oh no, that's not good.

"No,"

"What do you mean 'no' hoe!?"

"I cannot take anymore surprises today, so unless you wanna do me a favor by giving me a heart attack and sending me to the hospital I suggest you wait."

"Ugh, fine" she sighed. "What happened to you?"

Should I tell her?

Julie is my other best friend, but every time I tell her I have even the smallest encounter with a boy, she flips. And not even the concerned flipped, it's more of a you need to get some dick and stop being depressed kinda thing.

She's pushy and annoying, but I love her.

Her and Alex are like the sisters I never had, although Alex is a year younger, she sure looks out for me like a big sister. Julie's been by my side since grade school, everywhere I go she's always there. Which explains why she moved out here to California after we graduated from high school. We're basically inseparable, but since she started college a year earlier than me and is about to graduate, she has been running around doing her last minute graduation requirements and finals, so I don't get the chance to see her as often as before.

Eh, she's gonna find out either way. I thought.

"Some stupid light-weight billionaire that couldn't handle a few drinks passed out on the counter today, and you know charitable, generous me trying to be a good human being so I took him up to his suite—"
