We arrived at Yunho's beach house by 8am in the morning.
It was a secluded three story house. Everything inside it was elegantly furnished in white furniture, white walls, white everything, contradictory to their all black house back in town.
I feel like I was the only one exhausted while the others were still on their feet in the study room, planning strategies if we are to come under attack again.
Seonghwa and Hongjoong were up front at the whiteboard, leading the details of the operation.
San kindly lent me his shoulder to lean on as we memorized plans.
+ Seonghwa's POV
"Hyung," San's loud whisper reached me as I turned my attention from the board to him.
San pointed with his eyes to a small figure sleeping against his shoulder.
My heart melted, making me smile.
"You know-ever since you met Yeona, you've been smiling way more than you used to," Hongjoong pointed out to me.
Jongho's gummy smile made an appearance as he handed me the files, "You're really less fierce and less serious than you were."
"I wish I can meet someone who makes me a better man," San said in a joking manner.
I put the files down and went over to the sleeping beauty. I gently carried her up in a bridal style.
"Yeona's mine. Get your own," I quietly retaliated.
Carefully, I took the elevator to the third floor where our room was. I pushed the door open to a big white room, with light blue bedsheets and baby blue curtains.
As I slowly put her down on the bed, her soft muffles stopped me in my tracks.
"...seonghwa..."
I knelt down next to the bed, brushing her bangs up revealing her forehead.
"I'm right here baby," I assured her, kissing her forehead deeply.
I will never let them take you away from me. I promise.
+ Yeona's POV
Harsh, cold wind blew in from the open window. I shivered, pulling up the blanket to my chin. I notice the space beside me on the bed was empty and forced my eyes open.
"Seonghwa?"
I slipped on my shoes that had been taken off for me and grabbed a long robe to keep me warm.
The clock states that it's only 3 in the afternoon yet it's so dark as if a big storm was coming.
"Guys?" I called loudly from the top of the stairs.
It was silent. I can hear the ocean waves crashing by the shore close by.
"San? Wooyoung?" I called, as I pass by their rooms.
Where did they go? I've only been asleep for less than 6 hours...
The house was really dark, the only light was coming from the sun that was struggling to cut through the grey clouds. It felt like there was an eclipse in the middle of the day.
A sudden crash of lightning struck across the ocean, causing me to jump in fright. It was then heavy rain started to pour. I can hear the sound of the rain tapping ferociously against the tall windows.
I ran through the second floor.
No one.
A dreadful feeling crept up my chest as I ran down to the first floor. My mind started cooking up all kinds of negative scenarios that could happen.
