[I purposely chose this song because I thought of it while I wrote this last chapter]

Three years later...

"I'll take Nayoung out to the park while you settle those crooks," I lifted my small girl out of the car as I waved goodbye to Taeyong.

We were in my old neighborhood to settle a problem but I just thought of bringing my child with me to see where I used to hang out as a teenager.

Nayoung being a cheerful little 2-going-3 year old ran up the hill towards a playground that sat atop of it.

"Nana be careful!" I yelled after her, slowly climbing the hill.

Being a mom is exhausting. I huffed the moment I reached the top of the hill. I need a break. I twisted my hip, holding my back.

Just then...

"Ack!"

Nayoung's high-pitched voice echoed, making me jump. I sprinted to the location of the voice and what I saw before me, stopped me dead in my tracks.

A tall, black haired somebody, knelt down before Nayoung who had fell on her butt.

That somebody, with honey-glazed skin, patted Nayoung's head, smiling. He carefully held her tiny hands in his and gently pulled her up from the ground.

A gust of soft wind blew, pushing his hair out of his face.

Nayoung who stood up, turned around, running toward me yelling, "Mama!"

That somebody's eyes met mine.

I can feel my heart beating so hard, it felt like I was going to pass out. That somebody walked up to me slowly, towering over my figure.

My hand automatically reaches out to touch him. I wanted to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

His hand reached up to touch mine, pressing my hand against his own cheek.

"Seonghwa..."

Beads of tears glistened in his eyes and mine. It felt like as much as we still loved each other so much, the stars were never going to let our love happen.

"Is she yours?" He gestured to Nayoung who clinged onto the hem of my blouse.

"I'm sorry," I nodded."I'm glad you're safe. But you will have to live on without me from now on."

"Yeona-"

"I wish you every happiness, Hwa. I really do. Please eat well, take care of yourself well and don't forget to keep yourself warm when it's cold." My voice shook as if I was going to cry.

Seonghwa's eyes were welling with tears too but all we could do was hold it back to be brave.

I subconsciously threw my arms around his waist, hugging him close. His strong arms wrapped around my back. I can feel his face tucked into my neck, as we held each other for as long as we could.

All of our bittersweet memories flooded my mind, overflowing into this one embrace.

All of my sadness and stresses just melted away. I could feel a gush of warm pure happiness spread throughout my chest. I would give anything to stay like this forever without hurting him.

"Daddy!" My little girl shouted and her tiny footsteps galloped away.

Seonghwa and I pulled apart quickly, fixing our wrinkled clothes.

Taeyong lifted Nayoung up into his arms, carrying her as they climbed the rest of the hill up.

He spotted me, sending me a soft smile. His gaze landed on Seonghwa who was a tad bit taller.

Taeyong nodded to Seonghwa as a form of greeting before slipping his hand in mine.

"We got to go now, honey."

Before we could leave, I discreetly removed my silver bracelet and slid it into Seonghwa's hand.

Maybe that could be something of mine he could have for memory that I will still love him, even if we're worlds apart.
