Chapter 21 - Stressed

Whole week passed by with boys being by sameer and Sam's side. Vee had kept sameer busy with them. Boys used to keep him engaged making him do things for them.

They even had a man to man talk with him. He was much better than before. Sam was talking to him but formally. He knew she was hurt. He was trying every way to apologise to her. She told it's okk no need to apologise but deep down he knew she wasn't okk.

Sam was pretty stressed out working almost day and night. She was getting pressure from the board in form of Jay asking everyone's progress. He wanted quick results and sam was trying her level best.

She used to study their cases overnight and used to plan their sessions according to their injuries. Team and Sameer were getting worried for her. She had started skipping her meals which they weren't aware of but her appearance was saying it all.

She was losing weight and her eyes looked sleep deprived. She looked weak according to them. It was a new day. Sam was working that night and falling asleep while working. It was past 4 when vee woke up to make sam sleep and have water.

He made his way into the living room only to find his prediction true and found sam working but falling asleep he sighed. Sam was working and was hardly able to keep her eyes open.

He plopped himself besides her startling her and her eyes flew open. "Earthquake earthquake". She muttered making vee to chuckle.

"It isn't earthquake it's viratquake". He said wrapping his arm around her shoulder and she took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes to wake herself up.

"Vee bhai you should sleep why are you awake at this hour, nush bhabhi is alright right, does she need any... ". She started rambling making him to shake his head and he cut her off.

"Hold on your horses baby sis, nuskie is sleeping don't worry about her i woke up to make you sleep you have been stressing out way too much, leave all this and get some sleep". Vee said and was about to close her laptop when sam spoke.

"Vee bhai i need to work and need to report everything to board and have to schedule everyone's scan, have to doo soo many things you sleep i will sleep in a while and i am not sleepy yet". Sam said wearing her glasses but vee took them off again and shook his head. "Falling asleep but telling not sleepy". He thought in his mind.

"Ek chapet lagani hai maine nind aa jani hai tuje (One slap i will give you and you will get your sleep), whom you are trying to lie baby sis you can hardly keep your eyes open, you are stressing out too much and in this way you will end up falling sick, you are sleeping right now and it's final". Vee threatened her and wrapped up everything taking her to his room.

"Vee bhai i am sleeping in guest ro.. ''. She said and was about to continue when vee cut her off. "Yeah right so that you will start working again, absolutely not you are sleeping with me and nush this bed is big enough for three to fit in comfortably". He said first sentence drily and the latter part authoritatively.

Nush woke up. "What are you guys talking in middle of night, sleep both of you come sammy sleep". Nush said making space for her. Vee dragged her to bed and made her lie down.

Nush was in middle with vee on one side and sam on other side. Vee started caressing her hairs and within seconds she was fast asleep. "Someone was telling she isn't sleepy and slept off in seconds". Vee muttered under his breath covering them with duvet.

Nush had taken sam in a hug and vee hugged nush from back and slept. It was past 6 when vee woke up. He sat on the bed and rubbed his eyes and looked at the other side only to frown.

"God this girl must have gone when we fell asleep what to do about this girl, stubborn baby sis". He got out of bed and went in search of her only to panic as he couldn't find her.
