Note: Y/n struggles with PDA (Public Displays of Affection)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/n's POV"Y/n, I need a hug. That kid just gave me a dirty look."
I flipped my head toward C/n and was met with an exaggerated pout. Shaking my head at him, I continued walking down the aisle.
"When we get home, maybe," I replied before turning to look at the painting of a flower field.
The museum we were at was teeming with kids despite how I'm pretty sure this isn't the most fun activity for a child. Families were everywhere and while I'd been enjoying our time, I wasn't feeling super comfortable being surrounded by so many people.
"I promise I don't have cooties," he said in a sing-song voice as he hugged me from behind, wrapping his arms around my waist.
As much as I tried not to, I couldn't help but stiffen in response as I felt the urge to cave into myself.
"It's so funny how shy you are even though we've been together since forever," C/n teased as he stepped back.
"Shut up," I grumbled.
I walked to the next painting as C/n trailed behind me, his laugh being drowned out by the kids running around.
"It's ok, I know you still love me even though you can't bear to touch me."
I turned around with a glare as he put on a dramatic expression, holding a hand over his heart as if I'd physically wounded him.
"You know that's not true," I said, slightly hurt at the notion.
"Wow, so you don't even love me anymore?"
I gaped at him, "C/N!"
"Haha, I'm just messing around. I know PDA's hard for you," he replied. "I don't mind being the clingy one."
I shook my head at him but was unable to stop the small smile from forming on my face. He grinned and gave me a peck on the cheek before casually swinging an arm around my shoulders to guide me to the next section. We walked around the rest of the museum and I was able to stay relatively calm despite C/n's incessant teasing. In the final section, he slipped his hand into mine, spreading out my fingers before curling his through as if he was telepathically telling me that I wasn't getting out of it.
"So when do we get one?"
I looked at C/n, confused about what he was talking about when I realized his eyes were focused on a baby in a stroller and not on the art exhibit.
I laughed before turning serious at the realization that he was not kidding, "You're crazy."
"You don't want one?" he continued. "They're so cute."
"Yeah, and expensive C/n," I retorted.
Squeezing my hand, he brought it to his chest as he exaggeratedly looked off into the distance.
"But wouldn't a little you and a little me make everything so much more fun?"
Raising my eyebrow at him, I tugged my arm down but still left my hand in his grasp as I started pulling him towards the exit,
"I know you haven't been getting much sleep lately, but I was hoping this museum date would be relaxing."
"You didn't disagree," C/n pointed out.
As I unlocked the car I looked at him with disbelief, "Babe, we're 19."
I got into the driver's seat as he slumped down into the passenger side.
"You're always ruining my dreams Y/n."
Honestly, he can have such a wild imagination sometimes...
