N/n: Your Nickname
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Third POVY/n slammed the man against the brick wall and brought his arms behind his back to cuff him.
"What's a good girl doing in this part of town? Shouldn't ya be worried about getting mud on your uniform?"
Despite being in his current situation, C/n C/l/n taunted the well-known cop casually as if they were friends hanging out.
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say ma—" Y/n had begun reciting his 5th amendment, but of course, why would he care?
"Yeah yeah, blah blah. You don't have shit to keep me in a prison cell for long, so let me go. Your one hour of questioning isn't gonna get shit outta me," he smirked, "I don't wanna have to hurt you N/n."
She simply ignored his taunts and threats as she hauled him into her police car. Once she was back in the front, Y/n radioed in that she had caught C/n and was on her way to the police department for him to be questioned.
"Y/n open the window would ya? I'm melting back here," C/n groaned as he shuffled forward in his seat.
She cracked the passenger windows open but only enough for air to get through a tiny sliver.
C/n rolled his eyes, "You don't needa act all high and mighty, we're not strangers. It's rude."
"Well, I know a boy named C/n, I went to high school with him. He was one of the sweetest people I knew, kind to everyone yet somehow always knew how to get on my nerves," Y/n made eye contact with C/n in the rearview mirror, "I don't know you. You're a delinquent who thinks it's okay to murder people for money– joining some kind of gang to look cool."
"Well, if that's what you think," he shrugged his shoulders, "But don't forget, I know you and you haven't changed one bit. Always striving to help others, even if it means hurting yourself."
Silence followed C/n's words so he assumed that Y/n returned to ignoring him. In reality, Y/n couldn't stop his words from replaying in her head. She knew that he was probably just trying to save his own skin, but she wanted to hope that the C/n she once knew was still in there.
Either Y/n was too absorbed in her head or the truck really came out of nowhere, but as soon as it made an impact with her cruiser, she lurched forward in her seat and the car went tumbling. The car was pushed into dirt and foliage helping break the impact, but her world went black only moments later.
Hours had gone by when Y/n finally managed a groan as she tried to open her eyes, but her pulsing headache took over all her senses.
Her fingertips were met with a rough cloth when she reached her right hand up to touch her aching head. She froze when she felt a hand grab hers and gently place it back to her side,
"Y/n don't touch that, go back to sleep," was all that was heard as Y/n struggled to open her eyes. She wanted to figure out the answers to the questions jumbling up in her head but the word sleep made it hard for her to focus and soon enough, black was all that could be seen once more.
Y/n's POV
I sat up, breathing heavily as if I had just run a marathon. I looked around the foreign room, trying to grasp every detail to make sense of my situation but all I could remember was an impact.
How did I get here?
I almost jumped when C/n, who had been sitting in a chair beside the bed unbeknownst to me, stood up and pushed me by my shoulders back into a laying position.
