~Post-It Notes~

Y/n's POV

I'm so damn bored I could actually be sitting in my history class and somehow be more entertained.

"Mom! How far are we from the hotel?" I asked from the back seat.

"Soon. If it weren't for this traffic, we'd be there by now," she huffed in frustration.

We were literally not moving. There was an accident about a mile ahead causing all the cars to stop. We inch forward every couple of seconds just to stop again only moments later. I could get out of the car and start walking to the hotel and probably get there before my parents, but I'm too lazy for that, so back to being bored it is.

I sighed looking out the window next to me. I was trying to spot unique license plates when I noticed that in the car beside ours, there was a boy who looked around my age and seemed to be pretty frustrated too. He's kind of cute though.

I looked towards the front to see who the drivers were and when I looked back at the boy, I found him already looking at me. I blushed and decided to wave, a small smile on my face.

He gave me a warm smile in return and his face lit up as he mouthed the words hold on.

I mean, it's not like I can go anywhere.

He bent down under the window and out of my sight. I assumed he was reaching for something. When he returned to a seated position, he had a pen and neon green post-it notes in his hands. He quickly scribbled onto it and stuck it onto the window.

"I'm C/n :)" the sticky note read.

I grinned deciding to play along with his idea, taking out some of my own sticky notes from my backpack.

"I'm Y/n," I stuck the note to my window, thankful that I was finally being entertained.

"How old are you?"

"Age," I wrote back.

"Same" He grinned.

The conversation went on like that for a while until I started getting low on post-it notes. I suddenly thought of an idea and mentally smacked myself at how I didn't think of it before.

I scribbled my number onto one of my last post-it notes and wrote "let's text" on the bottom.

He smiled and nodded as he took his phone out of his pocket.

C/n: ik😮‍💨

I laughed as he looked up from his phone, giving me a cheeky smile.

C/n: not tryna be a crazy stalker or anything but where are you heading?
Y/n: Hotel Name
C/n: NO WAY! im going there too!!
C/n: we should hang out
Y/n: thats crazy! im down
Y/n: just dont mention the post-it notes to my parents or how i told you what hotel we're staying at they'd def get mad
