naoya zen'in

"Why am I going to Yaga-sensei?" "Naoya Zen'in is here to organize a few things about the killing of Toji Fushiguro." "Hm." She just raised an eyebrow and followed them. Arriving at the classroom, she was left alone, walking inside, her eyes went from Geto to Naoya and from Naoya to Yaga. Realizing that Satoru wasn't there, she sat down on a seat next to her friend.

"What do you think, how long will it take him?" "It's definitely more than 10 minutes." "I bet he's somewhere buying sweets." "Or he's trying to show his cursed energy off." Shoko giggled to that comment. "Somewhere, thirsting over girls, who he won't even date." "That's Satoru for you." Geto said and they both looked at each other, laughing, ignoring the two adults in the room.

After 10 minutes, the door got slam opened by a white haired boy, wearing his casual clothes, hanging his jacket over his shoulder. Earning a sarcastic smile from Shoko, Geto spoke, "I did say 10 minutes, right? Where were you?" "I won't be saying that now, Suguru." Shoko rolled her eyes in disbelief, hearing the stuff Satoru said to her other friend.

When Satoru finally sat down, Yaga cleared his throat and started to talk. "Naoya wanted to get this mission over with, so, the best thing to have against Toji Fushiguro is a plan." He turned to Naoya, expecting him to talk. "Does anyone know anything uncommon about this situation or about Toji in general?"

A long moment of silence until Shoko decided to speak up. "We will have to get Kayo out of there." All eyes were on her. Not nearly understanding what Shoko meant with this. "What do you mean?" "She'll probably be there, to at least watch what's gonna happen and if we do win against Fushiguro-san... To be honest, there is no way on how to predict how she'll be reacting to the situation." "That's coming from her sister?" "Indeed it is. She is not the type of person to give in to any feelings but well yeah, all the feelings she had been bottling up can come out as one and that wouldn't be great."

"Shoko." Geto started. "You're talking about her feelings but what is she actually able to do?" She didn't answer. Seeing the silent ways of his student, Yaga talked, "It's dangerous. That's all you have to know and Ieiri is right, we need to somehow handle her in that situation, she should at least have one person with her." Turning his head to Noaya, "I think it's best if you do it." Naoya widening and rolling his eyes, agreed, even though he'd rather choose to do anything but that.

Talking through their plan, which they were going to perform in less than a week, they decided that Satoru would be the main executer to take down Toji. Naoya was mainly just going to help out if necessary and stop Kayo if needed.

Shoko left the building, with not many things assigned to do, she looked for her sister. Finding her next to a tree, she decided to wake her up, "Nee-san. My work is done. We can go now." Slowly standing up, Kayo stretched before they started to head towards the city. Spending time out would do them some good.

Arriving there, they went to look for anything but clothes. Going separate ways, Kayo decided to go look around souvenir shops. The antique shop, which was mainly different from all the other modern stuff in the city caught her eye and she walked inside. Slowly looking around, she saw a few old weapons that were surrounded by cursed energy, which she decided to get. After buying them, she made her way to find Shoko, who was probably somewhere either food, book and magazine oriented.

"Here you are." Finding her in a bakery, buying coffee and some pastries for them. "I love you for this, Shoko." "Cool?" "Yeah, whatever. So," taking her coffee, Kayo questioned, "Why did you go to Yaga?" "You know pretty well why I went there, don't ask me unnecessary stuff." "Petty much?" "As if I am gonna tell you." Kayo rolled her eyes, taking a bite of her pastry, walking outside, making their way home.

As they arrived at home, Toji was laying on the ground, facing the ceiling. He wasn't hurt or anything, he was just laying there with an envelope in his hands. "Kill me." "With pleasure, but first explain what's going on." Shoko smiled amused by the conversation Toji and her sister had. They were always talking about killing each other or getting rid of the one another but if that actually happened, if one of them actually died, what would happen?

"This damned clan wants me to go to a wedding." "Don't." "It's Mina's wedding." "Oh." Mina was Toji's cousin, as well as Naoya's older sister. They were just a year apart and guessing from the outside, one would think Naoya is the protective older brother, but he was just acting the way he always did. Superior than others.

Mina was nothing like Noaya or her father. Whichever gene she got, she got the nice ones. She supported Toji and was mainly the one to make him laugh while he was still living there. There was just one small thing she did, no one knew about.

"I have to go with a partner." Looking at his best friend, he tried to look as sweet as possible, which was still kind of scary, she declined. "No way in hell, I'll go to a wedding." Then moving his head to Shoko, he smiled, "Don't look at me." He scoffed and again looked at Kayo. "I said, no way in hell."

Both wearing formal clothing, standing in front of the Zen'in gates, they decided to go inside. Their behavior didn't change from the last time they were here. "Why did I come again?" "Sucks to suck." He laughed, hearing the question she asked, "Why do they keep inviting you? What changed so suddenly." "I bet it's because of you and your planned marriage." "Hey! I thought you weren't going to die." "Oh, I am not."

Meeting a few people inside, Kayo felt two girls hug her from behind. "Kayo-san!!" Smiling at the twins, she patted their head, not noticing the man behind them. Clearing his throat, Naoya tried to get her attention, but failed badly because the girl didn't hear. Well, so he thought. He again did the same, earning a comment by her. She was standing up, facing the man, who was still taller than her. "You should get some treatment for your throat, Naoya." Kayo grinned. "Yeah, whatever."

Kayo noticed the maid following Noaya. "I wanted to ask you something." They started to walk, leaving the twins to their mother. "Did I tell you anything last time?" Kayo instantly thought about Naoya's words about the Zen'in clan. "No, you didn't." "That's good. And," a moment of silence followed, "What my father and Toji did." "Yeah, that's strange? But well, I hope Toji doesn't die. I bet you hope that too."

Having a smile on her face while saying that, her mind thought something else. She was certain that Toji would die. She wasn't scared of marrying Noaya. It could've been worse. The thing that was scaring her was what would happen to her after Toji died, because there was something only he knew about, maybe he'd mention it while dying?
