"ARE YOU GODDAMN SLOW? I TOLD YOU TO CONCENTRATE ON THE MOVEMENTS." Kayo was yelling at Satoru's students, not noticing the people behind her. Yuki and Mei were standing there while Satoru was taking pictures. As he came closer, Kayo rubbed her head and closed her eyes in disappointment. "Kayo-san," Satoru's casual voice said, "I think you should leave them to me." "Wait a minute Shoko." Kayo turned away from Satoru, opening her eyes, seeing the confused people around her. "What did I say?" "You called me Shoko."
"I'm sorry, Satoru." She took her jacket and put it onto the bench, leaving Satoru's class to their own teacher. "Kayo?" "Yeah, Yuki?" "I wanna talk to you for a while."

"You wanted to talk to us about Getou, right?" "You know about it?" "I've followed the curses around. They don't blend in with real people, so it's easy to just, how should I say, inspect them." She took a deep breath. "That ain't Getou, right?" "In hell's form! That of course is not our lovely Getou. But the thing is, I found out a few things about this Kenjaku something." Kayo raised an eyebrow, "What is Kenjaku?" "I think you mean, Who is Kenjaku." Yuki started to tell her all she knew about the man, about his sons, about Choso and his brothers.
"So you're telling me. He needs to disappear? Fully disappear?" Kayo asked her, not completely understanding what Yuki was going on about. "No, Kayo. I'm telling you that he has to go somewhere else." "You're not genuinely suggesting-" "I am." "I could die through that process. I could destroy lives" "It's worth a try." Kayo let out a big sigh, "What about Satoru?" "Impossible." Kayo again sighed, "You gotta know, turning a mind game into reality is hard." "I know that but can't you try it?"
Kayo turned around, said her goodbyes to the others and left the place, heading to Toji's grave.

Few days had passed after Kayo's talk with Yuki, the day of Naoya's family event. They were preparing themselves with the help of Nika. "What is this about?" "It's a traditional get together before my acceptance as the head of the clan." She just nodded and signed Nika to leave the room. Naoya continued to adjust his clothes when Kayo held his head on to hers. Forehead on forehead.
She closed her eyes, "Whatever we have, it's interesting. I don't know if it's love," Naoya flinched hearing that word, "or something else. I don't know how the person I hated the most in my entire life became the only person I genuinely care about. There are things going on in my life which I cannot tell you but I don't want you to worry about me. Naoya Zen'in as much as I hate your guts, you're not a bad person deep inside and I hope you will be able to show that to everyone one day."
He hugged her while a tear rolled down on both of their faces. They both knew things the other didn't. They both were hiding something but what was it?
