"Shoko? Your sister, Shoko?" "Are you actually asking this?" "She was a tough one. I liked her. She was able to talk back." "That's Shoko for you." Kayo sat down on the hospital bed, looking at the man in front of her. "What do you want me to do?" "How the hell should I know? It's your life." "I've been with you for ten years, Toji." "You've been with me for way longer than ten years." "Shut up. Those ten years and I still can't control my goddamn emotions." "Why do you even use your domain? Isn't it unnecessary?" "What?" "You just use it for your own. I've never seen you actually use it in a fight."

"You're calling me selfish?" "Kind of and after all, you promised Naoya to not use the hallucinations anymore. Kayo Ieiri doesn't break her promises, does she?" She shook her head. "She doesn't." "You have other techniques Kayo and you've always been using them. Stop with this." "You should become a life coach." "I think, I should go."

Sighing, she shrugged her shoulders, "Goodbye, Toji Fushiguro. This may be our last talk." "I hope you die, Kayo." Hearing his laughter, she quickly talked back, "Oh shut up, you buffed animal." And there he was. Gone.

Walking out of the room into the garden, Kayo looked around to at least find Naoya. "Naoya?" "You're done?" He was sitting on the bench under the cherry blossom trees. "I'm done." "Let's go home then."

When they arrived home, Nika opened the door for them, "Naoya-sama, Kayo-san, you two came back pretty late." Seeing their dirty clothes, she quickly stepped aside, "Let me prepare you both a bath and new clothes." "Thank you." As Nika walked away, the both of them walked inside, smelling the meal that was prepared. Maintaining silent until they both went inside their own bathrooms, Nika asked, "Would you like to eat dinner directly after the bath?" Both agreed, concerning the maid with their silent ways.

During dinner the same silence remained. Nika wanted to ask but knew that she shouldn't. In what position was she to ask, right? Just like everything else, the dinner they had around nine, flew by in silence.

"Nika, you can go if you like." "Sure." She took her things and left the house, leaving a little note on the kitchen counter. Kayo picked it up, reading what was written on it,

Kayo-san, you two didn't talk today so I got quite concerned. I didn't want to disturb the silence and ask but if there's anything you want me to do, just ask. I am leaving my phone number so you can call me if you need anything.

Smiling at the little note she had left, Kayo walked around to find Naoya, who sat down on their shared bed. "Oh, I thought you'd sleep on the couch, you know." She smiled at him, sitting down next to him, she leaned her head towards his shoulder. "You know, it's fun to think that this happened because of Toji." Naoya turned his head slightly to her, "This?" "Us." She looked at him, meeting his eyes.

They looked at each other for quite a while until Naoya moved his head a little down, his lips meeting hers. The warm touch of his lips was answered with Kayo kissing him back. As they parted, they both smiled at each other. Putting their foreheads together, she giggled a little, earning a smile by him.

"You're not that bad after all, when you're being yourself, Naoya Zen'in." "And you're not as annoying as before, Kayo Ieiri."
