Chapter 11: Dad Arrives

Third Person's POV

Weeks passed by. Sakura always helped Sasuke with his work, including his meetings. She knew that it was her duty, but sometimes, she just thinks that every work that Sasuke gives her is beyond her responsibility. Well, she wouldn't be confused. Why? Because Sasuke hated Sakura for fawning for him when they were in highschool, or even in grade school. No doubt about that, Sasuke's annoyance towards her somehow increases.

But she always told herself that she should stop this foolishness. And by foolishness- it means her feelings for the Uchiha. She knew in herself that she was still deeply, madly in love with him. But what's the point, right? When will Sasuke Uchiha love some girl, other than his mother?

"Sakura-san! You're early today." The moment Sakura stepped out of their house, their neighbor greeted her.

Mebuki, Sakura's mother, stepped out of their house too. Sakura smiled at their neighbor's greeting, "Yeah, well, it's a busy day for us."

Her neighbor smiled, as well. "Work?"

"Nope. I took a day-off. Me and my Mom would pick up Dad at the airport this afternoon. We decided to leave early." The pinkette answered.

"I see. Well, say hi to Kizashi for me, Sakura-san!"

"Sure thing."

Sakura and Mebuki took a taxi to drive them to the airport. It's only 5am and they're both sleepy but excited.

"Mom, are we going to the Inuzuka airlines or are we going to another airport?" she asked quietly.

"Your dad told me to pick him up at the Inuzuka airlines so I guess we'd go there." Mebuki replied.

The Inuzuka Airlines is owned by Kiba Inuzuka's family. Kiba happened to be Sakura's batchmate and friend. It's been quite a while since she went there. And based from her expression, she is really excited and happy.

While they were traveling, Sakura's phone vibrated. And she was surprised to see his name on the screen.

Boss calling...

"What do you want now?" Sakura mumbled under her breath as she answered the call.

"He-" In an instant, she was cut off by the great Sasuke Uchiha.

["Are you back yet? Go to the office early."] His voice was demanding that blended with his cold attitude.

"Woah, chill, sir. No, I'm just going to the airport. Jeez, it's just 5am for Pete's sake."

["What the hell? I said go to the airport early so that you can also come home early!"]

Sakura sighed, "So basically, you wanted me to leave earlier than five, correct?"

["Obviously."]

"Did you work so hard that your brain was out of knowledge? Sir, it would just be the same. I would even wait at the airport. It's just for today. I'll be back there tomorrow."

["For crying out loud! Fine! But be here tomorrow or I'll fire you."]

The pinkette nodded boringly, "One question before hanging up sir," she paused. "Are you on menopausal stage?"

[*doo-doo-doo*] He hang up. Tss.
