Part 2 IX

I smiled as I waved goodbye to my people. It has been the most relaxing 5 weeks of my life. I wish I could come back again. I hopefully wish. I looked to my side and saw Dennis talking to some people probably last minute stuff and smiled to myself. I'll have him to me forever now.

"So....." I turned to Oliver. "You are coming in two weeks right?"

"I told you that about a thousand times." I rolled my eyes. "So will the three of them and be back after 4 months."

"Make sure that everything is in order before you come okay? And look after mum for me too." He nodded as I hugged them goodbyes. "Dennis, time to go." I wrapped my hand on his shoulder. "Oh hey guys."

"Hello sir. Guess you forgot about us." One of them said smirking. He was wearing a plain t shirt and a cape to hide the redness on his forehead probably sunburn.

"You forgot about me." I said chuckling as they shook their heads quickly confirming my words. "Well, you are here. Let's go as you tell me about your holiday." They grabbed our bags and followed us.

"Oh, Tony is going to be jealous." He started.

"Or mad." I added.

"Or that but it was your fault." He said playing innocent

"He is furious." Angelo said laughing..

"What? Okay enough of that. This country is so beautiful. I don't want to leave. In a span of 5 weeks I've had the most fun I have ever had in my life." I chuckled as he spoke excitedly. I have never seen him so. "We saw girrafs, lions oh and snakes and crocs. You should have seen him when we forced him closer to them oh my God it was so hilarious." He said pointing to the most serious and the most deadly one I know in the gang. He's the reason why no one has had a successful kidnapping of me. "He.... He screamed. Like screamed like a girl..." they laughed as we joined in. Cain grumbled something about us being stupid but chose to ignore us as Timothy kept on telling us what happened. So, all it takes is some wild animals to scare him. "So we put a fake lizard in his room and screamed crocodile and he went and hid under the duvet. Oh my he was like a little kid." Everyone was looking at us as if we were crazy but we were just happy. They were happy. This is what Delvis wanted.

"Hey, are you okay?" Dennis asked. I nodded.

"It's just that his father would be so happy seeing them like this." I said making Angelo turn to us.

"I told you. Papa rarely made bad decision." He said smiling at the group seated in front of us. "Ever since I was born, I have never seen them like this. I never thought I would, I even asked them to play with me once but then an emergency happened. They were always busy. Look at them now, even Cain is smiling."

"Dude. I told you to act your age." I said laughing being followed by Dennis. "You'll be an old man by the time you reach 18." He scowled then his face was sad.

"It's... it's just that.... I grew up around serious adults. Forced to grow because of all the hiding and running needed intelligent minds to stay alive. So, when mum died and pa started the phase, I was left to tutors and myself." He whispered. He never told me that.

"Oh Angelo. Come here." Dennis pulled him to his lap. "It's not too late to be a kid you know? I'll teach you how, we'll have fun together and force Jaime and Alex in it too okay?" He nodded and rested his head on his shoulder sleeping. I hadn't realised we are almost landing.

"Dennis, Dennis? Angelo, we are almost landing you need to go back to your seat." We landed and headed home with Dennis gaping at every house we passed in our villa.

"Wow." He said as we stopped. "This is beautiful." I chuckled at how excited he is. The door opened and Tony came greeting us.

"So..."

"Oh my Jaime Come here..... did you see these cars? Oh my God look at... oh Angelo, you have a bright future ahead of you. Can I have the red bugatti?" We all laughed as he came bouncing on his heels. I pulled him to me.

"Everything you see, is all ours babe. All ours. So you can have the red, blue or black whichever you wish." He jumped from me and ran to the car almost running into Alex.

"I'm sorry. Are you okay?" He asked holding him still helping him with his balance before moving back.

"Yeah I'm fine." I walked to them. "Hello Jaime, you must be Dennis. I'm Alex." He stretched his hand towards him but received a hug. Then he turned red looking at me. "No.... no..." he sputtered.

"Dennis, let him go. He might faint on us now." I said looking at how his face was turning a dangerous shade of red. "Hi Alex." I hugged him as he came to me. "What did he say?" I asked as I watched Tony give him the car keys.

"Nothing." He cleared his throat moving as if uncomfortable.

"Angelo come." Well, I've never seen the kid doing something without thinking. He ran to him and got into the car.

"Follow them, make sure they are safe." I told Cain who nodded and left immediately taking the black one with him. "So, Alex. I missed you." I said putting my hand around his shoulder. I know he likes it but doesn't show.

"I can't believe I'm saying this but I missed you too. This house was boring, you took the fun guards." He grumbled as I laughed.

"Oh." I feigned disappointment. "It wasn't about me, okay." I punched my chest. "Uuurrggghhh it hurts."

"Don't be a drama queen." He sat on the other side. "You have a lot of paperwork to sign."

"Oh. I'm so tired. I gave you and Tony the authority. Why do I have to do this? I trust you." I said grumbling more as I looked into them. They looked okay. "And why is this contract not finished?"

"What?" He came to my side and I pulled him to my lap which he really doesn't like. "Jaime... stop it. Your boyfriend is here." He said trying to pull free.

"I just missed you and your hugs. Can I have them? Just this once?" I pouted looking up at him. He sighed wrapping his hands around my neck and I squeezed him tighter. "Thanks. I said my head burried in his neck as I felt him nodding. After a while he stood and went to the office couch and I followed him.

"He looks fine." He said.

"Yeah, I think he is doing well. Hopefully I'll get him back though the cars brought the smile back fast." He chuckled.

"He'll get used to it. He'll be fine." I nodded. "Jaime. If he is uncomfortable with me here, let me know okay. I can go find another apartment."

"I'm not letting you go. I like you Alex, a lot. I don't know what's happening with me but. I know I still love Dennis but I... I have these feelings... I don't know, you are just.... I just can't think of how it would be without you or Dennis in my life." He looked pale as he stared at me in shock.

"Jaime... you are tired." He said standing. I tried holding his hand but he moved back.

"But I..."

"Go rest. I'll finish those for you. You are tired." He said cutting me short. "Just go." I nodded. He was asking me for space. I locked the door then it hit me. What have I done? I wanted to turn but the deed was already done.

"Jaime." I turned to Dennis who was beaming but the smile was dropping as he approached me. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just office problems but I'll sort them out soon and Alex is helping." I lied and I know he saw it through.

"Oh, okay then. Come on, let's eat." He pulled me through the hall which was the wrong way. I turned showing him the right way as I laughed. "Just tell me when you are ready don't lie to me okay?" I nodded.

I didn't see Alex the whole day. I was worried. I hope this doesn't ruin our.... whatever we have.... had? Oh my God what have I done?
