"Any prayer request before we close the fellowship? And this is the last fellowship of the year" As usual, I turned around looking at everyone's faces. The leader smiled but before he said something else, another lady spoke. I, most of us sighed. She always waits until when one starts to speak that she speaks.

"Well, I thank God for my last born. She got a B+ at her KCSE. We are so happy for her." We all congratulated her. We all were happy for that.

"I'm too celebrating. My son was at the second place nationally the first regionally." Mr Maina said and I sighed internally. Why did he hold back? Oh, yeah. I didn't know. I think he knew his father would tell me, us. Everyone congratulated him and started planning a party for everyone.

"Jaime, thank you very much. It was you who turned him around." Mrs Lattifah said. Everyone nodded.

"Thank you for helping my son." I smiled nodding. If only he knew what a genius his son is. All I did was motivate him and a kiss here and there. "Yeah, and here." He handed me a gift bag. "I don't think that's enough to show my appreciation." All I want from you is your son. I sighed sadly internally. He would never allow it. I opened the bag and saw a box. It was a Samsung S20. Aw okay. I beamed lifting my head.

"Thank you so much." I said. "Oh and don't worry. I'll keep him with me to make sure he doesn't stray." Well, some truth there right?

"Thank you Jaime." Well. I'm an Angel right? I grinned. Thank you for your consent. I looked at my new phone then looked at everyone planning the party for the students who passed their exams. We had an A, three A- and a lot of Bs so we had a reason to celebrate.

"Fun place?" I asked as he pulled me towards the entrance. "I expected a dinner, candles and stuff." He turned to me tilting his head cutely.

"Really? You want that?" I shook my head. But didn't expect this either.

"Oh." He frowned thinking deep. I looked around before planting a kiss on his cheek. He looked around shocked. No one was watching.

"Are we going in or what?" He nodded beaming again. I didn't expect to have so much fun but I did. So much that time went on unnoticed and so did everyone around us. We were so much into our own world to notice our, my friends getting into the place.

"Jaime, Dennis." Njeri hugged us scaring us to death. I looked at her shocked before noticing the equally confused guys behind us. Dennis was the one who looked more confused as she hugged him. She whispered something in his ear and if he were white, I'm sure he would be pink right now. He whispered something back and she screamed. What's wrong with her.

"Hi guys." I greeted them.

"We good. What's up?" Titus asked.

"His father took us here as a thank you. What about you?" I asked confused.

"We had planned this. Did you forget?" Oh shit. I had forgotten it.

"Well, we are all here. Let's have fun." I said but Njeri came cutting me short.

"No, no. I'm not feeling fine. Can we go back home?" She's so obvious.

"You were screaming like a banshee right now." Oliver said raising his eyebrows. "What did that guy tell you?" Both Njeri and I glared at him.

"Non of your business." She said.

"Hey, I didn't mean it in an offensive." He did. He didn't like him.

"You did. Come on. Let's enjoy the rest of the day please." They nodded. At least now they would get to know him well. They nodded and followed me.
