I went back deciding to take a shower. I found many types of scented body washes but chose mixing Lavenda and orange scented one before deciding to rest in the tub. In a few minutes I was out.
I stood fog and darkness surrounding me. Laila stepped towards me slowly. I smiled moving towards her.
"Hello love." I hugged her but she disappeared and appeared in front of me.
"Hello Jaime. Thank you for avenging me. I feel at peace now. I'm happy, you should be too my love. I know you love me but I'm gone now, you can't suffer the rest of your life because of me."
"But... but it's hard." I said hugging her again. "It really is hard."
"You will survive. You will get through this okay?" She looked into my eyes. "You will move on, find a partner and be happy with them okay?" I sighed.
"I miss you so much. I'm scared of staying alone because I know I will join to too with the pain in my chest." I cried.
"Shhh don't say that, don't ever say that Jaime. Don't give up yet not now okay?" I nodded. "Please Do this for me, for my peace, for my happiness." She moved back.
"Wait, where are you going?" My chest was hurting and I held it falling to my knees.
"Wake up Jaime." She whispered and my chest wasn't stopping. "Wake up." She whispered again. "WAKE UP." She shouted and I lifted my head fast.
"Dude are you fine?" I saw Oliver's face above mine.
"Yeah, I fell asleep. What time is it?" I asked taking the towel from him and getting out.
"Okay. So, dinner, I'm ready." He said grinning. The idiot loves food more than himself. I dressed and joined them downstairs.
"Hi Angel boy....s." Oliver turned to me snickering. I glared at him.
"Call me Jaime, he is Oliver and Titus." I said politely trying to ease the kid who looked like he would led himself. "Aren't you supposed to be in school?"
"I am but my mother asked me to stay till she gets enough fees." He looked around. "Oh, there she is." He waved to a lady who had his identical smile. I nodded.
"So, What's going on here?" I asked him. Why would they send a small kid to us?
"Uh, well." He started walkinf amd qw followed him. "It would have been better if you came before the schools opened but, the few the better." He stopped at a place full of young youth. "So, these group is part of your crew, Mombasa Unit. They are from pwani, Mombasa and Malindi. They are just a fraction of it."
"Hello." I waved at them and they waved eagerly. Okay, I know I'm the 'supposed leader' but look at these kids looking at us like we are, idols? "Tell me, what is going on."
"Well.... our leader is off to school... and..."
"Relax Khali. I'll take it from here." Another elder boy stepped forward. "Hi, my name is Moha, our leader James left him in charge of us. Don't be shocked, he does his work well as much as he can be shy. So, him going to school I'm the third in command."
"Wait, James is out of rehab?" They all nodded.
"On Tuesday, after he had received the sad news. Please receive our deepest condolences." I nodded as they gave a symperthetic smile. "So, back to business, as you know, we here have been trying to help youths and teenagers." I could see where this was going. "And they have been working pretty hard and smart too. It's a wonder what these kids keep in their brains. We have a major problem here, drugs, alcohol." There it is. I sighed.
