"Morning sir."
"Good morning Patric." I greeted one of my managers.
"Hello sir." I smiled going towards my elevator. Well, I love that I have one for my self and Angelo and Tom and.... well, some more but no one follows me inside and I love the peace. I opened the company about 2 months ago and I almost immediately got investors who boosted my work and well, I can say in a span of 3 months I became richer fast.
"Hey! Hey!" I held the doors from closing. He got in panting and I let go. "Hi, thanks."
"Anytime. I haven't seen you here before." I said aparantly I had missed company in here.
"Yeah, I was called for an IT interview and I'm late. You see my mother has short term memory and my life is always a loop with her. I had to hold her back and explain so everything before leaving then I was called that she had collapsed and I had to go back only to find she was okay now I'm here but I'm lucky because a guy almost run me over. My life is so depressing and I don't even know why I'm telling you this. I'm just so tired." He sighed sliding down and I watched in amusement before pressing the red button to stop us. "Now I have an interview and I know I won't get it. I always fail when it comes to trials and exams especially when I'm under pressure. I know I'm good at the things I do. I'm a hardworking person, I do things to my level best but no one would hire me. What am I doing? I have to go back." He started standing.
"Hey. You just arrived. You couldn't have gone through all that then just go back." I said leaning against the rail.
"Yeah... I think you are right." He said ruffling his blue hair? It looks good on him though but blue? "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm really nervous and found myself spilling words. I don't usually do so. I'm Alex."
"I'm Jaime." I said moving towards the buttons. "I'm going to give you a secret. If in trouble look at the guy in the middle of the table. Don't try to argue with the girl who will be asking you questions. And the others are easy going so don't be nervous." I pressed the red button and it opened. I pushed him off. "Good luck." Before he could ask more, the door closed. I took out my phone. "Yeah, are you done? Oh, I'll be there then. And let the guy who just came in." I hung up.
"Hi, I'm here for the interview." I heard a nervous voice and chuckled to my self. He really is scared of interviews. I sat down and let everything go on but kept on listening as I watched the footage.
"Yes. Alex Reign?" My Secretary asked.
"Yes that's me." He said trying to keep still.
"Okay then. Wait please."
"Oh, oh. We are doing this here and now? I'm 5'8 and at 60 kgs." I burst out laughing. Everyone turned to me looking confused except for my friends, Tom, Maggie and Jane who raised their brows.
"Sorry." I put down my phone. "Sorry. Go on, tell me about this company Britney." She looked shocked that I was following on. She smiled and went on talking.
"Alex Reign?" Maggie shouted his name which had me cringing. I still haven't gotten used to her loud mouth.
"Hello, good afternoon." He said as he entered. I really tried to keep myself from laughing.
"Hello. Sit down." Before he sat his eyes met mine and he almost fell off the chair and I was almost bursting out in laughter.
"Jaime?" He gasped looking around. "They said not to use the right elevator. Which one did I use?" I think he thought he wasn't speaking aloud. "Oh, shit." He raised his head to look at me. "Oh shit."
"Ahem." Maggie cleared her throat. "I see you've met the boss."
"Yes, yes I did. In the elevator." Everyone looked at me confused. "I was told not to get in that one but I was late and confused."
