I sat silently watching the two quarrel over what had just been said. I was shocked into silence plus I wouldn't have spoken at the moment. What was she thinking? Apparently, Dinah, Laila's mum, left everything under my care. I still don't get it. I turned to the lawyer who looked defeated.

"Are you sure that's what it says?" He nodded. "I don't get it."

"Well, since you all don't believe me." Everyone turned to him. "She left a video of herself. She said to play it for you the moment I'm done reading the Will." He put it in the disk player and we all went silent.

"Is this thing recording...." she fumble with it her face disappearing but her voice still there. "That Jaime, I told him to tech me how to use it but he confused me more." I chuckled. She wouldnt listen to me and was impetient.There was silence. "Hello, Dennis, I need your help."

"Oh mum, it is still working. Here, let me make some few adjustments and you are good to go." Her face came back and so did Dennis smiling. A smile I haven't seen for a long time. "Now mum, I told you to leave technology for us, young ones." She pouted. I couldn't drop the smile I had.

"Go away, thanks for your help anyway." She left then came back. "Ahem, I hope the sound is good now. Hello guys. Jaime, Dennis, My little Dragon and Ruth, my sister. I'm sorry I left you at this moment, I guess my time was up and there is nothing I could do. The doctor told me I have almost a week to live with the growth outgrowing my heart. They could do nothing, so I'm sorry." She wiped her tears.

"You probably wouldn't have seen me or talk to me before my time is over and I wish there was another way round. Jaime, I'm leaving everything under you because I trust you to protect my family, our family. I've seen you grow from a little boy to the young man you are right now and I couldn't have chosen a greater person for my belongings. The house, is under Ruth's name from now henceforth. Please tell your mother to always keep it warm and homely. Don't let it look abandoned. I already packed Laila's and my stuff. They have been labelled so do as per instructed.

Money in my accounts, it's all yours, you are a clever boy, you will know how to use it. About Dennis, Jaime, don't leave my son alone. He needs you. He's needed you for a long time now but I was there to hold him and so was Laila but now he doesn't have us. Take good care of him please. Don't let him go no matter what. Hold his hand forcefully if it gets to that till he lets you in, I know he will let you in but he can be so stubborn sometimes. Keep him close for my sake, protect him from everything even himself okay?" I was confused but still nodded my head.

"My daughter Little Dragon. Laura. Tell her that I'm proud of what she has become. After having little Precious she grew mentally strong and I couldn't be happier. At least I know she has the support of Ruth and you so keep on doing do. Don't stop. She told me she had a dream of becoming a surgeon. Make it happen Jaime. I know you could do it and so would my life insurance. There is enough money to take her to school.

"Ruth, my beloved sister. She and I come from far, where we would share the same house while we were dating your fathers." She chuckled at the memory. "We both had dreams and I have a feeling we all have archieved it and I'm glad. I've always wanted to see her happy. She stood by me in my worst times, she took my husband and I in when we didn't have a place to stay. She helped me out till I got my job back. She was a friend and family to me. There is no way I would repay her back for all those. She deserves the best, I guess she really has the best having you and Dragon as her children. But now, she doesn't have to work hard, I'm leaving three of my bank accounts to her name plus the house. I know she won't accept them but I'm really doing this from the bottom of my heart, please let her know that this is my dying wish." She coughed twice.

"As for my relatives, they don't get any thing from me. The don't deserve to. The kicked me out of my own house, they made us eat from the dirt even when I was pregnant with Laila. I'm not going to allow them to take anything from me, from you. If any problem comes up don't worry, my lawyer will handle them rightfully."
