7:03 am~Jay: today let's not meet at the
rooftop imma have a friend help me retrieve deleted data
let's meet before school so u can give me the phone

7:04 am~Kimberly: ok where do we meet??

7:05 am~ um let's meet at let me in café

7:07 am~ok see u there in ten

7:15 am, Let Me In café

"You're finally here," Jay says as he sees the sit in front of him being sat on.

"Dramatic much? I told you ten minutes so I'm 2 minutes early." She responds, rolling her eyes.

"Just give me the phone we only have 25 minutes until school starts."

"Fine, here." She says handing him Jiwon's phone. "Let's go." She says standing up from her seat, which Jay follows.

They walk out the door and make their way to school which is not far from the café. Kimberly was walking slightly behind Jay, in a silent atmosphere. Only some students were around making their way to their schools. Various sets of uniforms were seen in the mass of students. Kimberly felt weird though as if she was being watched by someone but when she looked around she only saw the crowd of students all around. She felt unsafe and decided to walk side by side with Jay with made her feel more secure. Jay glances at her before looking down at his phone once again, he could see the evident worry in her face but only kept quiet.

They soon arrive at the school's main doors. "See you I guess," Kimberly says leaving after Jay gives a slight nod in response to her.

They separate ways going towards their respected classrooms going on with their usual routine.

12:06 pm, Lunchtime, Jay's classroom

As soon as his class is dismissed, classmates rush out of the classroom however he stays in place, along with a female peer a couple of desks away. Once they are the only two there. Jay walks up to her after, "You're Ning Yizhou right?" She nods in her response.

"Yes you can call me Ning Ning is there anything I can do to help, Jonseong I believe right?" She asks in doubt.

"You can call Jay, and yes I was hoping to get your help with something."

"Go on." She says seeing his hesitation.

"I heard you're good with tech, could I ask for some help?"

"What type of help?" She questions furrowing her eyebrows.

"I need to retrieve some deleted data from a phone."

"I mean, sure I could do that." She answers after a couple of seconds of debating in her head. "What type of data?"

"Anything that you can find; deleted conversations, pictures, etc." He explains.

She nods, "Could you show me the phone?" Jay moves his head up and down before reaching into his pocket, revealing an iPhone 6.

"We could meet tomorrow and return it to you it doesn't seem it'll be that hard. Do you know the password."

"Let me ask. It's my friend's." He says taking out his own phone, messaging Kimberly. "It's ****."

"Okay, I'll give it to you tomorrow at 12 pm at Let Me In." She says with a reassuring smile on her face. "Could I ask for something in return?" She hesitantly asks, a red hue starting to appear on her cheeks.

"Sure, go ahead."

"You're friends with Park Sunghoon of the class next door right?" She shyly asks with flushed cheeks.

Sunghoon is one of Jay's true friends. He has many around school but they are mostly only based on his looks, money, and popularity but Sunghoon wasn't like that. He was sincerely his friend. "He is." He answers.

"Could I um... have his number?"

He smirks, "sure here," Jay says showing it to her from his phone, which she gladly takes note of.

"Thanks, Jay, I'll see you tomorrow then." She says walking out the door, celebrating her success in getting her crushes' number.

Jay went back to his seat laying his head on top of the desk, a couple of minutes later the door was heard, however, he didn't move an inch.

"Yah Jay." The familiar voice says catching the attention of the older boy.

"What are you doing here Kimberly?" He asks, his eyes not 100% opened.

"Just wanted to know if you got it." 

"Yes, one of my classmates is good at that stuff she agreed on helping me, I'll get the phone tomorrow. You can come we'll meet at Let Me In café at 12."

"Okay, I'll get going then." She says walking away but before she made it any further, Jay grabs her wrist.

"Stay here a while, I'm bored." He explains looking at her in the eyes. They unknowingly stay there for quite a while, lost in each other's eyes.

Kimberly flinches, getting out of the trance, removing her hand from his grasp, "Sure why not I have nothing better to do." She shrugs sitting down at the desk in front of him.

They talked for a while totally oblivious to the fact that someone was looking at them from the other side of the classroom's door, through the window.

At 12:35 pm the bell indicating it was now time to go back to class rings. "Fuck, imma be late see you, Jay." She says before running out. As students burst into the classroom she went out, all of them curious as to why a junior was in a senior classroom.

Hours later, everyone went home. Kimberly went home, entering home she was surprised at the sight of her father kissing a woman evidently way younger than him. However, the two seem unbothered. She goes into her room, full of rage and the need to scream but she keeps that in. She was used to it, but it still bothered and disgusted her a lot. She decides to wait and take a shower until she comes back from work since she didn't want to witness anything inappropriate on the way to the house's only bathroom.

At 4:40 pm she makes her way out. Instead of using the front door, she leaves through her room's window, not wanting to see her father's face. She walks towards the nearest bus stop, taking her usual route to work. She gloomily greets her coworkers just like the past few days since Jiwon's passing before clocking in. Hani tried to cheer her up, but that didn't work. She continued working silently, if she didn't have to talk she didn't and when she did, it was a minimal amount of words. Everyone is worried about her but they let her be, 'it's a phase, she'll get over it, she can do it' they all thought, not even going close to her to try and comfort her when all she needs is someone to rely on.
