8:52 pm, Jay's homeHis moms have just arrived home from business. Jay was in his room, with headphones on doing some homework. Unknowingly, his biological mom goes into his room. They still haven't talked since the last time that they fought but the two women thought they should stop being childish.
"Jay come on down. Let's talk." She says looking at the back of his head.
He does hear what she is saying but doesn't know how to react after some seconds of thinking, he stands up from his desk hair making his way down with a cold expression. "You guys talking to me now?" He asks sitting down on the couch in front of the one they were sitting side by side on.
"Of course Jongseong, we realized we were childish to give you the cold shoulder." His stepmom explained while his other mom nodded. Though he already knew there would be something in addition to that.
"Now let's talk about school how-" his stepmom started but was soon cut off.
He lets out a scoff, "You guys just wanted to start talking because of school. I can't believe you. You do realize that life is not only about school right?! But everything that goes through your head is 'he has to do well in school, he has to get into SNU.' I don't know if you've noticed but I'm sick of it." He then jerks up, makes his way to the front door, slamming it as he goes out.
9:03 pm, Restaurant
"Take care okay? The streets at night are really dangerous." Hani says, giving the younger a warm hug.
"Got it. Bye unnie." She breaks the hug, then walks away, out of the restaurant since her shift had finished.
'I don't wanna go home.' Kimberly thinks once out of the restaurant. She starts to walk aimlessly with that thought. Her head was somewhere else but when she felt a stare on her it came back to earth. 'I'm just imagining it. I'm just imagining it.' She continues to repeat in her head as a way of comfort but when she looks back she couldn't help but have a shocked expression on her face and start to speed walk.
It was the man, the one she had seen in front of that strange building a couple of days ago. All she could think of is getting away from him. He is a tall but fat man, he has a blue-colored eye while the other is brown, he seems to be in his mid-forties as well.
She keeps on subtly looking back at him, and as she speeds walks she doesn't go too fast since she doesn't want him to know that she saw him. After a few glances, she turns her head onto the ground nervously. She then bumps into someone which makes a shriek come out of her mouth.
"Kimberly, what's wrong?" The person asks. Kimberly recognizes that voice making her look up at the person's face.
"Jay... Someone is following me- subtly look behind." She instructs with a worried face. Once he does he notices the creepy familiar man.
"It's okay, just trust me okay?" Jay says in a reassuring voice which leads to Kimberly nodding.
Jay pins her on the wall putting each of his hands on both sides of her head, seconds later he presses his lips against her making her widen her eyes in shock. She tries to move away but he doesn't allow it, he momentarily separates them in order to tell something to her. "I told you to just trust me." He says on top of her lips, making his hot breath sent shivers down her spine. He reconnects their lips, this time Kimberly doesn't tense up and instead closes her eyes and follows along. Their lips move passionately in synch, forgetting why they were even doing that.
After some time, they move away, turning to look the way where the man used to only find out he was no longer there. The pair look at each other in the eyes, their faces mere centimeters away from each other they were both now fighting the urge to feel each other lips once again. Jay moves a step back, awkwardly clearing his throat.
