6:09 am, Jay's apartment

The previous day the 3 young adults spend their time listening to Jungwon saying all the information that he knows. He knows that there are 4 guards on each floor keeping the victims there. On Jungwon's floor, there weren't any since he was always well behaved and he usually spent time on the other floor with the other people there. The guards switch at exactly 3 pm every day. The boss, which they had learned was the man who stalked Kimberly- for still unknown reasons, came in at 3:30 to inspect the situation, and at 5 pm came back to organize (or more like give orders) for the set up of the rooms before night came.

For now, the three of them had woken up early in the morning since even though they had many much important things to do they still had to attend the hell hole with the name of school.

"Wonie, are you sure you'll be fine alone?" Kimberly asks worriedly, reluctant of leaving.

"I'll be fine Kim. You'll be back here anyway. You're gonna need the knowledge for the future okay?" He reassures her as he grasps her hands, tightening the grip reassuringly once in a while.

She slowly nods and once Jay appears already with his uniform, he speaks, "Are you ready to go?"

Kimberly nods looking at him before turning her eyes at Jungwon, "We'll be leaving now, please don't open the door for anyone." Jungwon nods with a smile.

"And you can make yourself at home," Jay says looking into his eyes. It was hard for him to say otherwise but he had already grown a soft spot for the younger boy, more than anyone he knew.

The two reluctantly walk out of the room and then out of the building the two wordlessly entering Jay's car heading to Kimberly's home to fetch her uniform.

The three had come into terms of Jungwon staying at Jay's apartment with Jay himself since his moms had gone out for a few businesses while Kimberly would continue living at her house and would attend her part-time job with either of them escorting her for safety.

As soon as they got to her apartment complex, Kimberly steps out of the car with Jay following from behind for reassurance that her father would not be there. They thought he wasn't home as the light was off and there seemed to be no movement inside. However, they were surprised by the sound of moans as soon as the front door was opened startling the two people inside.

The man rolls his eyes before beginning to speak, "Lee Kimberly, why haven't you been home for days?" He calmly asks.

Before she could answer, Jay peaks in due to curiosity making his face turn into disgust and anger at the sight of a much younger woman straddling the man.

The oldest scoffs, "Is he the reason. I didn't think you were a slut like your mother." She rolls her hands into fists, trying to control her anger.

"Sir, I think it would be a good idea if you shut up," Jay says stepping in front of Kimberly.

The man takes the girl off his lap, making her quickly run out of the house before he speaks up, "What did you just tell me to do?"

Before answering Jay leans towards Kim's ear to whisper something, "Go pack as much as you can, everything necessary. I'm not letting come back here." He says, making her nod before rushing towards her room only to be stopped by her 'father.'

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!" He screams as he holds on tightly to her wrist, making her whine in pain.

Jay goes further into the house, taking his hand off the girl, "GO." He sternly tells her. As soon as she does she rushes putting as many things as possible into her gym bag and another normal bag as well as her school bag.

As she did that, Jay punches the man letting all of his anger out for hurting the poor girl and making her suffer all of these years. Punch after punch, he promises in his head to never make that girl suffer, to never see her cry in pain, and to see her smile all the time.

When the girl comes out of the room she is startled by the scene of her father on the floor and Jay on top, throwing punches. But as soon as he feels her presence, he stands up leaving the man almost unconscious, and drags the girl out from there. They get into the car hurriedly, panting heavily.

"You are never coming back to him, got it?"

"But he's my father."

"I don't think that's what you call a father," he replies as he grabs onto her freshly bruised wrist, "Are you okay?" He asks softly.

She looks at her wrist too, her cheeks and ears turning red at the sudden contact before stuttering out a, "Yes."

The two then head to school, arriving at 6:53 am, Kimberly having time to change into her uniform and later eating some breakfast together at the cafeteria. The two bid goodbyes as soon as the entrance bell rings, the two going their separate ways.

As soon as she enters her classroom, whispers find their way to her ears. Though, they were no longer centering her dear friend anymore and instead were revolving around the question 'What is the dead girl's best friend doing with the most popular guy in school Park Jongseong?' Of course, Kimberly decides to ignore all the death glares and envious looks all throughout the day.

Finally, the school day ends successfully with no troubles and Kimberly awaits Jay in front of his car as they had agreed earlier in the day. Disregarding, the feeling in her gut that someone was watching.

As soon as the older arrives, they got in and made their way to the apartment.

"So... Will I be staying with you guys at your apartment?" She asks calmly, looking at the road.

Jay glances at her, gripping tighter onto the wheel, "If you are comfortable with it." He simply replies.

She nods, "I really don't have another choice. Besides, I want to keep an eye on Jungwon."

"Who really is he to you?" He asks as he stops at a red light.

She smiles faintly, "My best friend's twin, my second best friend, my taekwondo partner, the person I've been longing to see, and... my first love."
