8:02 am, Seoul High School

Saying that it was easy to sneak Jungwon in their High School would be an understatement. all they needed was for Jungwon to borrow one of Jay's uniforms and buy a fake ID for their school in case he is questioned as a student.

"Wonie, stay here on the rooftop until lunch in 4 hours, hide if anyone comes up here though that's no longer allowed. I will try to sneak my phone and text you with the phone Jay bought you so that you don't get too bored. Please, please be careful because if you fall-"

"Kim, I'll be fine. Now get to your classes," Jungwon says.

"Are you sure you don't want me to stay? I'm a top student, I'll be fine," Jay states.

"And I'll be fine alone. Hyung, drop Kim off at her class, please?"

"Sure," he replies with a small frown, unsatisfied with his decision to be left alone.

With one last goodbye wave, they go downstairs.

With a sigh and a small smile, he lays down and stares up at the sky that seemed really pretty today. He closed his eyes and started to reminisce, reminisce the memories that he had with his twin and best friend. He recalled one day in particular, it was the summer before entering their second and last year of middle school but the trio was already getting ahead of themselves, speaking about all the memories they would make together in high school.

"I will get my first parter during freshman year and if I don't then... Wonie you're gonna date me right?!" 13-year-old Kimberly asks with a pout.

"If I don't have a girlfriend then, I wouldn't have a problem," he replied with a wide smile, showing all of his teeth. Unknowingly, making her heart flutter and cheeks get slightly blushed.

"Guys please stop flirting it's disgusting," Jiwon says, fake gagging at their conversation.

"We- we weren't," Kimberly mumbles, looking at the blanket that was spread under them at the Han River.

"Well, for my freshman year I will be the top student," Jungwon says proudly.

"Yeah, yeah we get it, you're the smarter twin," Jiwon states, playfully rolling her eyes.

"It would be a miracle just for me to pass the year," the other girl says with a small giggle, a warm feeling going to Jungwon's heart hearing it.

Jiwon lays down on the blanket before beginning to speak, "We will walk to school together, we'll get ice cream every time we know we'll fail a test to comfort one of us, we'll go to karaoke every exam, and if one of us the top student then we'll add tteokbokki to it and when we turn 18 we'll live in the same apartment altogether." She fantasies with a wide smile on her face. "Oh oh we'll protect each other no matter what and we'll have to do everything together, the three of us, promise?" She asks holding her pinky up in the air with a giggle.

The other two lay down too with her in the middle, and bring theirs up, intertwining it with her chuckling as well.

With a sniffle, he wipes the tears that were coming out of his still closed eyes, a small smile still on his face. "I miss you Jiwonie." He says with a sigh before opening his eyes, tears bursting out of his eyes, "We promised to do this together, the three of us. When I finally get out, you're not here anymore," he sobs out. He puts his right arm on top of his eyes, continuing to sob out apologies and 'I miss you's all for his sister.

It felt nice, finally being able to cry it out. He knew that Jay and Kimberly would lend their shoulder if he needed to cry but this is what he really needed, to miss his sister and cry for her alone. At least for a while until he would need someone by his side again.

He sat on the ground and brought his knees to his chest and his head in between before continuing to remember the memories they had together for over an hour until he calmed down. With tear-stained cheeks and red eyes, he picked up the phone Jay had recently bought for him to see a couple of messages from both Kimberly and Jay basically asking over and over again if he was okay. He responded with 'yeah I am, I was just sleeping' to both. Who would sleep on a rooftop in the blazing sun during the hottest month of summer? Jungwon thought but just shrugged it off, it was the best excuse he could think of.

He played a couple of games on his phone before deciding to stand up from where he sat. He walked over to the edge of the roof, looked over, and looked at the ground, 'So this is where you die eh?'He thought with teary eyes, but this time contained his tears thinking he had cried enough for the day.

He walks by the edge, making sure to keep a good distance. Though he didn't really care if he made a small step and fell he now knew of two people who did and he in no way did he want them to suffer. Especially because of him. He took each step carefully, looking down. He had no idea why, but he had a gut feeling. If Jiwon was really murdered, then he hoped that the murderer was clumsy and had left something, anything behind.

He began to think, how would the murderer have known Jiwon was gonna be there?

There was no way to know. They had already gone through Jiwon's phone and there was no text saying where she would be and the only two people that knew she was there were Kimberly and Hyunwoo. Though the three girls that bullied Jiwon were the ones that chased her up there. The point is, the murder was something that was thought that minute, not planned so the murderer must've run out as soon as she was pushed off the edge. Whoever they were, must've left something- that's what Jungwon hoped.

That's when he saw something, something round shining just a few centimeters away from the edge. He grabs it and goes to the center of the rooftop before starting to exam it. It was a ring.

'This is what I was looking for.'

A/N: I hope you liked this Jungwon centered chapter hehe
