(Avery's POV)
The bell rang marking it was the end of school.
I moogot on my bike and rode off, ignoring the fact that I had detention.
School was kinda far from my house. It was a fifteen minute ride, so I put my head phones in and blasted them, leavimg me in my thoughts.
I saw Cameron in front of me. I wanted to just go and talk to him, but he probably hates me. After all I did punch his girlfriends friend. I wanted to know what he thought of me, so I took my headphones out and went really fast, passing him.
"Hey! Avery! Wait up a sec!" I heard him yell. I pulled my bike up to a stop and looked back at him running towards me.
"I heard you beat up sydney today?" He asked in more of a question.
"Yeah, I guess I did. It was only a punch though," I said shaking my head.
"Well, I think it was brave of you, ya know to stick up for your self like that."
I shrugged.
"What was she talking about anyways?" He asked. I looked down.
"My mom," I mumbled.
"Oh" he said.
"Its just a sensitive topic that she doesn't have the right to talk about," I said, still looking down.
"Oh ok I get it. Hey do you live in that huge mansion up the street?" He asked changing the subject.
"Unfortunately, yes" I said ashamed.
"Really? A lot of people would kill to live there," he asked. I looked up.
"Its not like I live their by choice though. People make fun of me and tease me about being rich, and I just who I live with as well,"
"Well, whoever makes fun of you must be jealous and have no life," he said. I didn't want to tell him that its his girl friend, it would mess up a lot of stuff.
"I just moved in around here. I used to live in the city," he said which explained why I had only seen him recently. We lived in a private little part of town most people don't know about. It's where a lot of rich people lived.
"just a heads up I wouldn't go around meeting people around here. There all snobby and clingy, and rude," I said remembering what had happened when I first moved in.
"I've been here 8 years, just give me a call if you need anything," I said as I gave him my number.
"Alright cool, will do,"
"Well, we better go before presly tries to make anything up," I said getting back on my bike.
"Right. And I'm sorry about that earlyer today," he said.
"Its fine," I said and shock my head.
"Alright see ya" he said.
"Bye," I said and rode my bike off, fast.
A/n ok I'm so sorry I haven't updated in like 28 years! I'll update a lot tonight, so yeah. I'm really sorry! I've just been really busy
