Wooyoung came back home the next morning, looking over to see a very awake, but very exhausted San sitting up on the couch. What caught his eye even more was that he was fully dressed in an outfit, but not in the same clothes he had on yesterday so he had just gotten ready. Confusedly, he set his over night bag down, coming from his bent over position to look at the being again.
"What are you doing?" he voiced, San's head immediately turning in his direction as if he didn't hear him enter.
"Come here for a minute" the other responded, patting the spot on the couch right next to him.
Wooyoung did as told as he walked up to San, taking a seat right next to him. The older looked awful, like he had been awake for years without even closing his eyes.
"Did you even sleep last night?" the smaller asked, taking a hold of San's chin to rotate his head in inspection.
The older took his hand off of his face, entrapping it in his own hand. His surprisingly wasn't slapped away, opposed to the other night. "No, but that's not important right now."
The other stayed quiet, allowing for the San continue on.
San took a minute to gather the courage to say the next words he wanted to say, looking down at his lap before he looked back up at Wooyoung.
"Can we go over to my mom's today?"
He was sure the other would probably slap him for asking that, but there was something that needed to be done.
Meanwhile, Wooyoung was looking at him like he was speaking a language completely foreign to him.
"Why would I want to go back over there after-"
"Please Woo" San said before the smaller could his words out.
"San.." The younger was clearly skeptical, and the older was completely understanding of this, but he wanted take his chances.
"Please."
Wooyoung didn't know what the latter had in mind asking him this, he honestly had thought he lost his mind. But then again, knowing San, he wouldn't have asked that without a good reason to. Plus, his puppy eyes were very convincing.
With one more contemplative moment, he finally responded with a soft "Okay."

San squeezed Wooyoung's hand tightly as he knocked on the door to his mom's house. They both had waves of nervousness surging through them, San more than the other. This would be the first time he would confront her about the situation, and he didn't know how it was going to go. He'd just have to find out.
The door in front of the couple finally opened, revealing a slim woman in her early forties with short black hair, and pale skin to accompany her dark colored hair.
"Oh? Hi San-ssi" she said with a bright smile while also simultaneously ignoring Wooyoung's presence. "I didn't know you were coming by today." She let her son enter her home, the man attached to him as well.
"What brings you here?" she queries as she shuts the door and guides them over to the kitchen.
"I want to talk with you" San announces.
"Oh? Alright, but why is.. he here?" she finally looks over in Wooyoung's direction for the first time since they got there. Her expression was one of disgust, which caused Wooyoung to look at the ground in insecurity. The male had a strong head, but the woman's glare could melt right through him.
"See, that's exactly what we need to talk about" San says, his voice already sounding irritated.
His mom was taken aback a bit by his tone, truthfully, so was Wooyoung.
