There were no words in existence that could describe the intensity of Wooyoung's agitation at the moment. Maybe a word in alien language, but he wouldn't dare to even put his money on it to place that bet.
The makeup artist had just left him by his lonesome in his dressing room, leaving him to put on the remainder of his outfit. He was surprised he even got his own dressing room as his role wasn't that important.
The male was at the set of where a music video was soon taking place, and he was a wreck. It wasn't a music video for just anybody, but for the Choi San; a singer who was famous all around South Korea and several other parts of Asia. He was charming and dashingly alluring; his sharp features and god-like body frame, complimenting his seemingly bubbly yet matured personality, perfectly. Not to mention his incredible voice. The man was an absolute heartthrob.
Honestly, Wooyoung was only supposed to be just one of several people dancing in the background, that's what he had auditioned for anyways. He worked his ass off to even build up the skill and confidence to try out for it, so when he got the part, he was ecstatic. But then, after things went well and he was on his way home about to tell his best friend the good news, he was suddenly called back to the building because the casters wanted to talk with him. Supposedly, they were looking for a man that would be the main of all the backgrounds to be alongside San; basically a male video vixen with a little pizzazz.
At first, Wooyoung thought he was being punked. He had never anticipated he'd be in the music video at all, let alone getting a big part in it. And he had to admit, he was a little upset when he realized he wouldn't be dancing as much as he would've liked to if he got this role, but he wanted this part really bad.
The male had many questions as to how this was even possible, and that was when one of the casters told him that Choi San had taken a personal liking to his "style and vibe", whatever the hell that was supposed to mean.
Wooyoung definitely would've been fine being in the shadows of the background, but an opportunity like this doesn't come often, especially for people with luck like his.
So here he was. In his dressing room, sixteen minutes before he had to make an appearance.
"You have fifteen minutes Wooyoung. Be out at three remaining" a chirpy voice sounded from the other side of the door.
"Okay~"
Guess it's fifteen minutes now.
Wooyoung quickly looked around the room, his eyes finally laying upon the item he was seeking. He lunged towards it, digging his phone out of it. He swiftly unlocked it and clicked the familiar contact.
"Hel-"
"Yunho, I need any reason to chicken out of this. Just say I shouldn't do this and I'll dip right now" Wooyoung blurted out, not giving his friend any chance to speak.
He could hear a heavy sigh on the other end and already knew where this was going to go.
"You must have lost your damn mind if you thought I would tell you to pass this up."
"Yun~ I'm scared. What if I fuck up and embarrass myself. Like what if I knock over a camera, or look like a chicken on ice skates, o-or have one of my nose bleeds. Yun you know how bad those get!"
"Okay okay. Just..calm down okay? Take deep breaths."
Wooyoung finally decided to listen and started inhaling and exhaling deep, calm breaths. They were seeming to work, his body feeling itself relax within its own skin, his heart rate becoming less pumped.
"That's it" Yunho cooed. "Are you feeling better now?"
The younger took a few more breaths, before replying with a small "Yeah."
